A2 Desi Cow Bilona Ghee 1 Liter

My wife ordered this for me in India. I have used other A2 bilona ghee before, but this Kasutam ghee doesn't have the aroma I was expecting. Not happy with the product. I did the iodine test to check for starch adulteration, however there was no starch adulteration. Probably I will run a GC on it at some point

Good product I am still in the process of using it and knowing the benefits in due course of time ..one thing I can point out is the ghee is definitely natural as it stays in liquid form at warmer temperatures hopefully its other benefits are known as well

I learned about this brand as they were featured in a TV documentary in Business insider. I love supporting this small business. Great quality! Price is definitively worth it. I find it superior to other brands. Edit: I'm now in my 6th jar over 2 years. I've read some very ignorant reviews saying this ghee is "overpriced" and that "it tastes the same as the regular one". So, for those of you not versed in ayurveda, please know that not all ghees are the same. High quality ghee comes from Desi cow's milk (does cows don't exist in the US) AND it has to be churned using the traditional bilona method, which is a manual labor (small batches). This method preserves the peptides and probiotics in the ghee, which are almost none when you cook it from other type of milk, or worse, when it's prepared via commercial methods (large batches). Second, the price might look too much at first glance. However when you compare by volume to what you get in the store the price isn't that different.
