Weye Feye Wireless Remote Control for Camera

I saw a video about it and I have been searching for this kind of device to have a control on my camera using my iPhone I have tried it and it works you can change the focus, aperture, ISO and take pic or video. if you have a camera that has no wireless connection with iPhone like 7D I highly recommend this but If you have 6D ( I think it already has this feature build in ) so in my situation I really like it and its highly recommended ^_^

I read the reviews for the XSories Weye Feye Wireless Remote Control on Amazon and deliberated over buying it. However I have a Samsung compact system camera that has wifi and wanted to add this feature to my Canon 7d. The wireless part of this device works perfectly. My only initial problem was that I had not turned off the smart network switch on my phone and tablet and the wireless network from the Weye Feye kept dropping out and switched back to my home wireless network. Once that was turned off everything was great. The wireless range is very good - I took photos in the back garden from the front garden and from various rooms in my house no problem. I haven't tested if the range works 80 metres away as it is unlikely I would ever want to be 80m away from camera equipment! I bought this version of the Weye Feye as it will also control your camera and you can use it take the photos (there is a cheaper version available that only views and uploads images from your camera). You can change some of the basic set-up of the camera but really I did not find this useful and prefer to set up the camera directly. Nonetheless, it is good to be able to view my images in larger format. I mainly shoot in raw (the images on your camera can be viewed on your phone or tablet in jpeg and raw which is useful) but I found that if used my phone/tablet to take the photo I could just take one shot at a time and then had to wait several seconds (in excess of 10 seconds) before my device processed the shot. Obviously the device is not suitable if you want to fire away at 8fps!! In summary, the device works fine but I wish I had bought the cheaper version to simply view and upload my images wirelessly.

I Use it for my Nikon 700 and IPad. I'm very happy with the WeyeFeye and recommend it to anyone

Terrible range. Does not even come close to the manufacturers stated range. Using in an open field, with an iPhone, with no other electronic devices around and the range is no more than 3 metres, turn your back to the device and that drops even more. I sent the first one back after 2 weeks as I thought it must be faulty, the replacement unit is the exact same. Very disappointed.

I love this product and it has worked well with my Canon 5d Mkii. I have controlled it from my iPad, iPhone and Galaxy 6s and it has performed perfectly each time. If you need a wireless camera control for your Canon its worth looking at this product.

As a solo traveller, taking photos of myself isn't usually easy, as not everyone is good at taking photos. But with my weye feye, i just set my camera on a light tripod and take pictures of myself using my iPhone. It's extremely efficient!

Great bit oh kit

Didn't work, couldn't get a wifi signal with it, so sent it back!! Pity, because all the reviews said it was great!

Ce petit boitier est super. Je l'utilise sur mon 5D mark III qui ne dispose pas de module wifi comme le nouveau 6D, et je dois dire que j'ai déjà réalisé des super photos de couple grace à lui. Avec un trépied de table vous n'avez qu'à cadrer votre scène, vous positionner devant l'objectif avec votre compagne (facultatif), verifier le retour vidéo sur le téléphone pour s'assurer que tout est OK, faire la mise au point où vous voulez en touchant l'écran, et déclencher (avec éventuellement un retardateur pour avoir le temps de sortir le téléphone du champ) Mes bémols : un peu long à démarrer pour les photos "on the go" (comptez quelques secondes), et surtout le réseau wifi ad-hoc qui permet de se connecter au boitier n'est *pas* sécurisé. En gros, si quelqu'un vous voit sortir le boitier et qu'il dispose de l'appli (gratuite) weye-feye sur son téléphone, alors il peut en profiter pour se connecter au réseau ad-hoc et visualiser/télécharger vos photos !

oggettino sfizioso e trovato ad un ottimo prezzo spedizione veloce e seria. per l'utilizzo forse potrebbe essere migliorato sopratutto per i manuali che non sono in italiano e l'assistenza che non c'è in italia.

SE CONFIGURA EN 0,2 SEGUNDOS JE JE REALMENTE UNA DE LAS MEJORES COMPRAS QUE HE HECHO ESTE AÑO FUNCIONA CON EL IPAD, CON EL MAC Y CON MI MOVIL ANDROID PUEDES VER HASTA LOS RAW

Il Weye Feye è un buon prodotto ad un ottimo prezzo se consideriamo il prezzo del suo diretto concorrente il Camranger. Prodotto ancora giovane, sarà perfetto per me quando implementerà la gestione bulb e migliorerà la connessione wireless. Per le prove fatte che ho fatto la cossessione non va oltre i 20/25 metri anche in campo aperto e cambiando la frequenza di lavoro, oltre ho avuto continui disconnessioni. Per il resto la gestione della macchina fotografica, nel mio caso nikon 5100 è ottima, provata sia con un samsung S2 che S5, velocissimo nel salvare e/o visualizzare le foto su cellulare, sopratutto quelle in jpg.

Très compliqué de trouver le logiciel de xsories puisque cette société n'existe plus donc le logiciel n'est plus sur googlestore ! Il faut le trouver ailleurs.
