It was extremely accurate and matched the controller temperature measurement without any need to offset the temperature in the app. It connected easily to a distant WiFi router and has so far not lost the signal. It connected seamlessly to the Smart Life app I already had on my phone. Not sure if it's a function of the temp sensor or the app but it it displays a very useful temperature/time graph.
