the only makeup I wear
I see this product gets mixed reviews, but it is simply the best in my opinion. barely has any smell. it spreads far - 2 to 3 pumps covers my entire face, generously. It protects me from sunburn. I have very, very fair skin and can get sunburn in minutes from being outside. there is hardly any smell, and it's very neautral and unoffensive. it doesn't break out my acne at all. the makeup color is soooo flattering and subtle.

Amazing!
GIRL.. let me tell you I’ve tried so many sunscreens. Many Korean sunscreens.. many drugstore ones.. popular, expensive ones like EltaMD. Some of them were OK but none were ever perfect. Usually, they leave me oily enough to fry an egg, or dry as the Sahara desert, or the sunscreen pills and I look like a snake shedding its skin. Worse, some make me look like a deathly ill Victorian child with the forsaken white cast. Or occasionally just for the fun of it they burn my eyes so bad, it’s as if I poured straight acid into my eyeballs. So let me tell you, when I tried this sunscreen, (after trying to find EltaMD dupes because that’s only sunscreen that was relatively okay, but WAY too expensive), I wasn’t expecting much. I was prepared for the worse. I’ve tried many 5 star sunscreens and they still sucked. But this one finally stopped my search. It’s great! It does its job. It doesn’t smell bad. It doesn’t burn my eyes. It feels nice and light on the skin and my skin doesn’t look like it has sunscreen on it, and doesn’t feel like it does either. It goes seamlessly over moisturizer and under makeup. I use sunscreen daily and this lasted me a few months, which is surprising because most sunscreens I buy only last me around a month because they give you such a small amount. All in all, it works! It’s simple! So simple it’s almost boring. I love it

Good product but definite scent in the product I received.
This product has a scent for me, on par with playdough or crayons. It isn't bad. It's just noticeable. I also have the tinted version and it has no scent. I am wondering if it means the one I have is damaged. I am curious if I bought another one if it would also have the scent. I will continue to use the product and add essential oils to mask the scent.

Excellent for sensitive skin
I have sensitive skin—not acne-prone exactly, but it definitely reacts if it doesn’t like a product. I’m really particular about what I use: I prefer clean beauty with simple, non-irritating ingredients. No heavy fragrances, nothing pore-clogging. After doing a lot of research, I found this product... and I haven’t looked back since. It’s fragrance-free, which is a big plus. Some people mention the smell, but that’s just the zinc oxide—it has a mild, chalky scent that doesn’t bother me at all. It absorbs nicely into the skin, and while there’s a bit of a white cast at first, it fades quickly. That said, I don’t feel like this SPF 45 version makes me look overly white, which was a concern I had initially. It adds a nice bit of moisture, gives a subtle glow, and most importantly, it doesn’t irritate or break me out. It feels gentle, nourishing, and gives great SPF protection. Honestly, I even wear it at night sometimes when I want a little extra glow. It just works.I’m also interested in trying the tinted SPF 46 version to see how it compares.

Great sunscreen!
Love this sunscreen. It does have a little smell to it, as some of the other reviews stated, but it goes in so good and doesn’t leave a white cast. I used it and was in the sun all day and didn’t burn at all!

Extremely drying
I’ve used a lot of sunscreens that are mineral based, but this is the first one that has caused a reaction. It caused extreme dry and flaky skin, primarily around my eyebrows, hairline (yes I put it in my hairline since that’s where a lot of melanoma happens) and nose. Absolutely cannot keep using it. Worth noting that I do not have naturally dry skin. Just normal and have never really had any adverse reactions to skincare products or sunscreens. Just something to be aware of. I’m sure it’s fine for people with oily skin. But I also didn’t realize it has octinoxate (she topic of ongoing studies that often suggest it’s an endocrine disruptor, causes reproductive toxicity and harms aquatic life). It’s on me for not reading the ingredients. I just assumed it was only zinc. Either way, I have never experienced this level of dryness on my face from any product and have not changed any of my other skin care. Do with this review what you will. Just my experience.

Non-greasy but a bit oily when first applied
A good mineral spf. I like that it’s quite absorbent and doesn’t leave whitecast. However, it does have a “chemical” smell when you first apply it. And it feels a bit oily on my face.

Excellent - no sticky residue and no white color
My dermatologist suggested a comparable brand that is nearly twice as expensive. I have both now and comparing them side by side I cannot see a difference outside of faint product odor.I'm using this now and it looks nice on my bathroom counter and I am so much better about applying sunscreen daily now. This goes on smooth, no sticky residue and at first it may look like a white sheen but keep rubbing it in and it disappears. No noticeable scent, no breakouts... I'm so glad I found this sunscreen. And it works or I would have had a sun burn by now.Very high quality sunscreen but while packaging beautiful they could make it a little smaller or not quite as nice for the sake of recycling, it's a pity to throw it out when it's empty.
