Really bright lights.
A little background. I bought these for visibility on my motorcycle both to see and to be seen. I sometimes ride mountain roads at night, and the stock headlights I have don't have very good lateral visibility even with the brights on. It makes riding the twisties in the dark dangerous. The dim stock lights also make it tough to be seen by surrounding cars especially if they're not in the direct path. I needed some additional lights to make my presence known, and to see around corners. When the lights arrived they came with a small pamphlet, mounting brackets and about 8 inches of black wire coming out of the back of the light, casing the inner positive and negative wire. You defiantly need a wire harnessing kit and/or the know how and parts to install.I got the wiring harness for the motorcycle and attached them to a 12V battery for proof of concept. To say they were bright in a living room is an understatement. My poor dog shakes when he sees them, and I think my neighbors could see where the homes main beams were through the wall.Once the fork mounts came in I got after installing them. It took about an evening, but I had everything I needed. Moment of truth came, and I went for a ride following my brother. He said they look fine. I didn't quite believe him because his mirrors have auto dimming, so I parked the bike and walked out about 25 feet with them facing directly forward. Pretty sure interrogation lights are more comfortable than the brightness of these things. Took a few times of going back and forth adjusting the angle, but angling them down 10-15 degrees made it so the apparent brightness of them wouldn't automatically induce road rage. They are flood lights, and not directional. I'm hoping having them directed down will give me the ability to be seen without interfering with other drivers vision or get the attention of law enforcement. Not familiar with case law, but I'm pretty sure I'm within the law when they are facing down.Overall the lights are bright, and I feel safer on the bike with them on. They work great so far, and can't wait to use them in the mountains.Edit: I've had them installed for about a month and a half now. I have been commuting with them, and the frequency of people cutting in front of me went down. I recently took them off to do a better job with the harness installation, and while they were off I had a lot more people cutting in front of me again. I do not rely on them to be seen, but anecdotally they work fantastic. I feel safer with them on. I have just finished resizing the cables and soldering the joints. I can't wait to have these lights back on the bike for safety alone. Also, I was first on scene for a Jeep that flipped on its side on the freeway. The grey Jeep had lost it's lights in the accident and it was very hard to see. The lights came in very handy to provide illumination for oncoming vehicles and the guy in the Jeep. The guy was able to climb out the driver side door. Luckily there were with no injuries in the accident or after the accident. I'm really glad these lights were able to help out. It could have been a lot worse if traffic had not seen the Jeep on it's side.

Small, very bright 12 volt DC lights for emergency use or equipment lighting.
I got these 12 Volt DC Nilight Led Light Pods as part of preparing for power outages that seem to be happening more frequently than they used to. Right now our temps are dropping down to -20 F at night⦠not wind chill⦠actual temperature! You donāt want to be two long without power for the furnace at those temperatures! And years of observations have taught me that power outages and babies both tend to show up at night! ļ These are small but very bright outdoor LED lights. Each light measures 2 ¾ X 2 ¾ inches by about 1 ½ deep. There are 9 LEDs in each unit, a 1 foot power lead and also included are stainless steel mounting brackets. I tried to get a photo of the brightness of these lights, but the auto exposure on my cheap phone doesnāt do it justice. For the size, these are very adequately bright lights. I plan on mounting both on the face plate of a weather proof electrical box and feed in my 12 volts that comes from a solar charged standby battery. The 12 volt DC power is wired into a 120 volt relay that holds the 12 Volt DC cable disconnected to the lights until the 120 volt power fails, then these lights will come on automatically using the stand by battery. One of the lights will be directed to where I need to plug the incoming generator power plug into the house feed. The second light will be aimed at where I place the inverter generator that comes out of storage when the power fails. This automatic lighting will allow me to get the generator hooked up and running regardless of when the power fails and the isolated distribution system we have set up in the house will be able to run the bare essentials on generator power until the utility power is restored. Iām hoping there is a break in the weather so I can complete the installation before the next power glitch. Iāll try to remember to get another photo once I have them installed. I believe these will be perfect for this emergency use.

Their fair
They do work good just not a lot of light. I ride fast so I need super bright lights to see where I'm going. These are a better fit for backup lights or working lights.
