I love this big terry cloth poncho robe. No more battling a front close robe with a belt that always falls open. I put this on after showering and can wear it around comfortably while getting ready for work or bed. It is warm to me so not sure about wearing at the beach in the summer but perfect for home right now. I have washed it several times and it is still soft and holding shape and no unraveling. I use it all the time

Overall this suits what I need- an easy-to-toss-on coverup for when we are at the pool/beach/lake or to use as a robe while traveling. We frequent GWL and this is great to put on when heading to grab a snack or back and forth to the room. I purchased the blue and white, colors are exactly as pictured. The size is nice and roomy. I'm usually wearing a XXL or 2X. The only downside is that it is a bit thin- as mentioned in other reviews. Because of that, it's not an overly absorbent coverup. All that said, it packs easy and works for my needs. While it could be thicker, it's not enough of a con to outweigh the pros.

On the thinner side, but perfect for hotter days. Great for pool and camping.

Not as big and roomy as I thought. I am a 2x. And it fits like a 2x. I was looking for oversized. Not very thick but appears to be absorbent material ( haven't gotten wet yet). I doubt you should use fabric softener on it. Also a little shorter than I was wanting. Right above knees. Will add to review later.....

Love this. Exactly as described. Plan to pop it over my swimsuit. Light enough to make sense after swimming but not too thin

I LOVE my surf poncho, I ended up buying several different colors. They are good for any season and great for the beach, pool, lake or just around the house.

The micro fiber Terry cloth is very soft, not heavy, and the design that I chose is very pretty. Unfortunately I will be returning it, therefore I cannot comment on performance regarding drying time or absorbency. Although I think it would be suitable for a smaller woman/child; I’m a plus size woman who wears 2X/3X and it just doesn’t fit comfortably or look good on me. Regarding the width I don’t think it would fit a person larger than me. I was happy with the length as a cover-up. I definitely couldn’t use it to cover myself up while getting changed though as stated in the product description. It would be suitable for a child to do that. When I was trying it on, I felt claustrophobic as I was trying to put my head through the small opening. It’s too snug for my liking, almost felt choked. It’s for this reason I will be returning it. The hood is quite large if you like that. If I was going to keep it, I would probably cut the hood off as it’s just too much fabric hanging behind my neck. I’m disappointed that the neckline is so small. If it weren’t for that, I would probably use it and make it do even though it wasn’t very flattering on my plus size body. Some people commented about the stitching being loose. I carefully looked over mine and the stitching looked perfectly fine. I liked the nice big kangaroo pocket which is was sewn on very nicely. I’m sorry I couldn’t give it a better score due to the small opening for your head. This is definitely not a one size fits all.

This was a present for my daughter and she uses it every week when she goes to swimming practice. She LOVES it.
