These are great! The fit is perfect, as it's nice and stretchy. Fairly cheap compared to other marino wool versions. I LOVE the purple color. What's great is that it keeps you warm even as you breathe through the material. Many similar balaclavas have gotten wet and frozen in the cold. This one allows air to escape without fogging up your goggles, and remains warm even when a little moisture does build up. My favorite feature is how the separate flap makes it easy to raise and lower it over your mouth/nose as needed. I had to buy another one to keep one in my downhill kit and one in my backcountry kit. My dad liked mine, and he bought two as well.,

Good, breathable, balaclava mask. Has worked great in sub zero temps while working outside. Fit my head well, material is comfortable, and does what it is supposed to do.

This is definitely warm and fits well under a helmet. It’s comfortable and soft. Doesn’t fog. Up my googles. Good quality. I wish they had a better way to prevent or disburse moisture around the mouth. On extremely cold days (-20 - 0) the outside would freeze up and then free onto my face on the way down. It would thaw on the lift back up but definitely not pleasant. I carry a backup of another brand half the cost and I swapped it out. For $45 I was hoping it would work well in all conditions but the moisture buildup around nose and mouth makes for a cold wet day without a backup.

I bought 2 pair of these a few years ago for the Chicago below zero cold weather. They work great to keep me warm even with a hardhat. It's -10 today and I am glad I brought it out. I love how you can lower the face mask part and still have it cover your head in comfort.

This is the best balaclava I’ve owned. The hinge design works great and it is a nice breathable material so keeps the face and neck warm while skiing while being lightweight. Soft and smooth material that is easy on the skin. Would recommend!
