Day 1 Review This chair is solidly built and easy to assemble—I managed it solo in about 10–15 minutes without breaking a sweat (or calling for backup). It’s labeled “big and tall,” for reference, I’m 5'5" and, let’s just say, pleasantly fluffy 😆 (photos included for science). The seat is nice and wide, though not super deep—so if you’ve got a generous back porch, keep that in mind. My back feels supported, and the cushion is thick and comfy. If it feels like you’re sitting too straight, just give the tension knob a few turns and relax. The top of the chair hits mid-head for me. Height and tilt adjustments? Smooth as butter. I added rollerblade wheels because carpet and standard casters are not friends. I’ll update on durability later. For context, my old Serta chair has survived seven years of daily abuse and is still hanging in there—fingers crossed this one ages just as gracefully.

This is a really nice chair for the price. It is very comfortable with a nice back support. It was easy to put together and seems like a sturdy chair. Time will tell as I purchased for my son who is rather rough on his chairs using them for long hours of gaming. It is a little more streamlined than his last La-Z-Boy chair so it fits nicely at his desk. Do far so good...

"High back" this chair is not. Chair was easy to assemble but 4 weeks in there is a lot of creaking with the chair. Not made to easily recline, even with the resistance cranked all the way down. Disappointed as I had a Laz-E-Boy manager chair for years that was comfortable and reclined easily. 2 stars for ease of assembly.

Worst chair I ever owned. We slide off the front of it when trying to work and it does not lean back at all. Too small for a tall person.

seat was easy to assemble, rolls easily, and it's been a huge improvement over my old chair. My lower back isn't sore after sitting at the PC for 4-5 hours anymore. The reclining tension is pretty high by default, I had to crank and crank and crank the tension knob to lower it to where I could lean back easily, but it got there, might be easier if you're heavier. I haven't tried that many chairs to compare to, but I'm satisfied with the purchase and the price.

I really wanted to like this chair because it looks incredible, but it is honestly very uncomfortable. Like many other reviews have noted, the back support is positioned too low. Instead of supporting my head, it aligns with my upper back and shoulders, which forces my posture into an awkward, hunched position. As a result, my back ends up feeling like a question mark. Additionally, the armrests are not adjustable and sit too low to be comfortable. At 5'10", this chair feels as though it was designed for someone significantly shorter.

My husband recently upgraded to this La-Z-Boy office chair while remodeling his workspace, and it has been absolutely worth it. He has ongoing back issues, so finding something with real lumbar support was a must — and this chair delivers. The support is incredible, the cushioning feels high-quality, and the overall design looks so clean and professional in his new office. He’s been able to work longer and more comfortably without the usual back pain. If you’re looking for an office chair that combines style, durability, and truly great lumbar support, this is the one!
