I am very happy with these connectors. I save so much money by using them with the light strip. It's tricky to attach them to the light strip though, and easily disconnects, so I had to make sure once the light is on, don't move it! But once it's in place, and taped to the cabinet, it works great. Just make sure don't move it, it's hard to connect it back again.

The only problem I had was getting the strip to work at first. After experimenting I realized I actually had to trim a bit of the edge off the contact edge... AND MAKE SURE THE CORRECT END OF YOUR LED TAPE IS BEING USED. If it doesn't work the first time- reverse your LED tape end.

having tried several different connector styles, I found these to be the most reliable. None of the connectors that I tried are "lock tight" but these held the best without resorting to a soldering iron. i found some connectors styles worse than useless (because I had to live thru being annoyed at trying to make them work) but these at least will grip the tape to be snug. You are not going to tarzan swing on them but they do a half decent job gripping the tape. The facts are, this is a "friction" connection, not a "piercing" one.

No welding need it.

Used these for several project boxes. They had a nice tight grip. They are designed for 10mm strips, but they still worked for my 8mm strips.
