The Final Gambit: 3 (The Inheritance Games) : Barnes, Jennifer Lynn: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: excellent follow on book. enjoyed every moment - Good conclusion if a little rushed in the ‘game’ sequence. Thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to more books from this series Review: I'm praying for a spin off!! - The Final Gambit is the third and final book in the Inheritance Games trilogy and what a superb ending it was! I'm hoping that from the ending of this book, we will be getting to hear more from Avery and the delectable Hawthorne boys in a possible spin off? As I say - I'm hoping (please Jennifer!?). Avery has a bigger opponent in this book who is after something she has but doesn't know what that something is. An unexpected visitor arrives at the house and Avery really wants to trust her but something is holding her back. This whole series is absolutely mind blowing and so cleverly and intricately plotted and executed from start to finish. I raced through this book desperately wanting to know what would happen next but at the same time not wanting it to end! There's some shocking revelations in this book and my heart really went out to so many of the characters for so many different reasons. I urge everyone to give this series a go!

amazing finale
Third book in an amazing series this one felt like it had less puzzles but just as much plot and with all its twists and turns I always worry with final books whether I will be let down and I wasn’t this was just as great as the other 2 and the ending fit perfectly I loved it I loved all the characters again as well

Good series
This wasn't my favourite book in the series but it was a good conclusion to the story. The puzzles, as always, were well thought out and executed. I enjoyed finding out the final mystery of who Toby's biological father was and how it all came about. And I am sooo pleased we got to see Avery end up with Jameson! However, I thought the mystery was a bit convoluted and some of it unnecessary. The character of Eve was difficult to get to know and I thought the way Grayson reacted around her was unrealistic. I still really enjoyed the series as a whole and would recommend it!

Queen’s Gambit
The roller coaster of clues, lies, deception, puzzles, mysteries one after the other is just 🤌🤌🤌 Plot twisted and thickened to the point that left you questioning the author's sanity. Well done JLB!!! This is a chef's kiss. Now on to the next book.

Love the inheritance games series
After completing all the books in the inheritance games I can say they are all very good and highly recommend them including this book which is the third in the series. The plot is gripping and I always finish Jeniffer Lynn Barrnes books in a matter of days.

I bought this for my son who loves this series. He's on the spectrum and doesn't say much, but when I asked what he wanted for Christmas, he said clothes, lego, and this book.

4.5 stars I loved how this book wrapped up the story perfectly!! Every single choice made felt in character for everyone and the character development was outstanding!! Especially Jameson’s. That’s my baby and I’m so incredibly proud of him. Avery is much a strong main character, her brain amazes me and I’m glad that she got the happy ending she deserves. They all do! Libby and Nash were adorable!! Xander was hilarious. Grayson finally started to heal. Everyone is exactly where they’re meant to be! I did find the ending a bit underwhelming. I thought the story would go in a different direction, but I understand why it was that way. The epilogue made it clearer! I was smiling so hard reading those last few pages. I’m going to miss these characters so much.
