I waited a full year to write this because I wasn’t sure it would make a difference—but it absolutely did. I usually get eye and nose irritation when cats are close, and my two 20+ lb cats insist on cuddling on my chest. Since switching to this food, I’ve had no respiratory issues, though I still get mild irritation from scratches. When I ran out once and had to use regular food, my symptoms returned within a week and disappeared again after switching back. It’s expensive, especially for two large cats, but completely worth it to me.

My son is pretty allergic to cats, but loves having them around. He & his gf adopted TWO, and tried all the tricks to keep his allergies at bay: brushing, keeping them out of the bedroom, an air filter, etc. He was just about to go get allergy shots (expensive!) when I did some research for other alternatives. I got bromelain and a couple other herbs for him to take, and this food for the kitties. He said it’s cut down significantly on his allergy symptoms & is able to mix it with their other food to help alleviate the cost. Definitely recommend.
