Easy, great looking, and inexpensive mod for the Tacoma
For the product iitself I give 5 stars. Not sure why some folks gave poor reviews. Installed very easily, maybe 45 minutes total, on a 2015 Tacoma Double Cab. Shipping - Granted you may have some tiny scratches because it comes shriink wrapped in a package and that's in a box with no bubble wrapped. Also had read the reviews so knew it might arrive in Hawaii with some scratches (minor, certainly no reason to return). Installation - Clean your window tracks THOROUGHLY and you'll have no problems. Used a plastic prying tool I bought for removing interior parts, along with a microfiber towel and plenty of rubbing alcohol to cleanthe tracks 3-4 times to remove all that "black smudge" residue. - Push the visors all the way up and in, follow the instructions and start at corners and pull the tape backing as you move inward and you'll have no problem. - Note the rear visors are NOT exactly the same (test mount in the windows before you pull the tape), even looking at them it's hard to tell but you'll notice the slight difference when you put them in the track. - Used the same plastic prying tool and ran it along the back of the visors several times to make sure the tape adhered properly. - At first you'll think some of the windows are rubbing the visors and the windows (in my case left front) won't close. Do not panic! If you mounted them properly this with will go away once the windows been up and down a few times, I just "nudged" the visors over to get the windows to close, and after sitting for a day windows go up and down just fine. Use/Appearance Due to the good prep work all 4 visors stuck just fine (windows have been up and down many times, and highway tested). Although the visors are not that wide they really do help in keeping rain from blowing in. Dark smoke looks great on a black truck and the fit/finish is very nice, no gaps whatsoever. Bottom line, looks great, reasonable price, easy install (if you take your time and follow the instructions)

Easy Installation, Seriously Good Looking
Though the final result was great, just one word of caution: be extra careful unpacking. If one goes about it methodically and slowly, looking for the best places to open and begin to remove the shrink packaging, it should be fine. Going after it like killing snakes will remove the tape covering the adhesive and could also potentially damage the product. The alcohol wipes provided are almost enough for a window. Best use a rag and your own alcohol to insure cleanliness. Maybe one half star off for the non-intuitive packaging and insufficient wipes. I had changed mine because of an accident where one of my exterior shields needed to be removed to repair the drivers door panel. These old exterior shades had been on my truck for over a decade. I decided to replace all of them with in-channel. Taking the old ones off with fishing line was easy. Getting the adhesive off the vehicle was a major bear. One advantage for in-channel over exterior adhesion: much easier to change if you decide to. The actual installation was easy, I made sure that I held them in place while I ran up the windows to avoid any future interference, and left the windows up for the recommended 72 hours. The fit was perfect, and they admirably serve their purpose both functionally and cosmetically.

Good product but look it over carefully
I would have given this product 5 stars across the board if there were not a couple issues. Two of the pieces had small scratches. Not enough to warrant me returning them but nonetheless they were there. There was also a VERY tiny corner broken off but that piece was hidden once installed. And when I opened the package the plastic wrapping was pulling off the adhesive on the product. I had to be very careful opening the product so I didnโt lose the adhesive tape on the product. Having said all that, I still think itโs a good product with good value and it looks good on the truck. They could be packaged a little better so they donโt get so beat up and scuffed. Just look it over carefully before opening.

Fits & looks fantastic on my '05 Tacoma. Works as intended.
These AVS in-channel window vents fit great on my '05 Tacoma Double/Crew cab! Installation was a breeze, & the dark color goes with the truck. I do recommend using baby wipes to clean the inside of channels, then use supplied alcohol pads, allow to dry, & then finally install. Also, ensure you peel adhesive covers only quarter to halfway when installing, then when you're comfortable where it's at pull the rest of sticker strip off & immediately close window for at least 24 hrs. Works as intended: allows air in during high heat & wet weather conditions. I recommend this in-channel AVS window vents.

Easy DIY install, no tools required
These wind/rain guards were pretty easy to install on my 2015 Toyota Tacoma. No tools are required. Usually I am kind of an anti "DIY" person-- I'd rather have a professional do a job than me screw it up. However, I figured even I couldn't screw this up, installation was easy, and I didn't screw it up! A couple of minor snags happened. First, the plastic film on packaging they came kind of stuck to the protective cover over the double sided tape on two of them and peeled it off when I opened the package. I had to seperate that from the plastic film and then stick the protective cover back over the plastic tape for installation. Wasn't a big deal though. Second (speaking as someone who's never installed wind/rain guards), the back window install was easy, i.e. The window rolled up and locked in place easy. The front windows were a little bit more difficult. At first the window didn't roll up all the way. However, with some manual pressure on the rain guard to provide a wider space for the windows, the windows rolled up fully and locked in place. So, everything worked out fine. The instructions say you need to keep your windows rolled up for 24 hours before rolling them back down in order for the double-sided tapes adhesive to set. I am keeping mine rolled up for 72 hours out of abundance of caution. Also, you need to prep the install area by removing all the grit/grime where the double-sided tape is going to bond. The best way to do this is rubbing alcohol. They give you four small rubbing alcohol prep pads with the kit. However, my vehicle has over 120,000k miles and 10 years old. The four alcohol pads wouldn't have been enough to properly clean the install area. I used paper towels and a bottle of rubbing alcohol to clean the area, and it took several rubbing alcohol soaked paper towels on each door to properly clean the area before installation. All in all, 5-stars. I am sure you can pay a lot more to have a professional installation, but this is an easy DIY job and doesn't take much time. Like I said, if I can do it, anyone can do it.

Auto Ventshade
I ordered this product as a replacement for the same but older product that had gotten busted. The design is slightly different from the original 2005 Ventshades I had installed on my Toyota Tacoma in 2005. (For example, there is now a "bottom lip" to the ventshade. There is now also a white AVS logo embossed on only the front ventshade. The model number is absent on the new ventshade, and it does not tapper to an end at the side mirror.) Despite the minor design differences, the Ventshade fits perfectly. The tint color has not changed. Because of the design changes, I felt I needed to replace not just the broken Ventshade, but both pieces on the passenger side of the vehicle. However, because the design differences are so minor, I choose not to replace the original Ventshades on the driver's side. I will add that it was a bear to remove the old Ventshade. I used fishing line to separate the old Ventshade from its adhesive strip. It then took me quite a while to remove the adhesive strip residue. I oscillated using Acetone and denatured alcohol, but neither held the advantage. Eventually, the adhesive melted away.

Shut all windows immediately after install....
Its perfect! But definitely shut all windows immediately after install per instructions for at least 72hrs to insure everything cures in place and windows ability to roll up or down remain unaffected. I was concerned about my front passenger seat install at first because it would not roll up at first, but after holding the visor out of the way while pressing the window roll up button it did and after 72hrs it updated normally ๐๐จ๐ Apparently this is recommended but I did not see that in the instructions, had to look it up on YouTube ๐ Looks great on my old 06 Toyota Tacoma and I can actually drive with one window down for my large dog as needed, without having deal with the wind beating my ears as a result and having to choose between that and possibly bothering my little one or other passengers with additional open windows to mitigate the wind beating noise. Also love that I can keep the windows cracked for fresh air on rainy days without letting all the rain in and that I didn't have to adhere it to the exterior paint ๐ค

Fits like a glove!!
I give this a 5 star review because once installed it looks like it came with the truck from factory, They look FANTASTIC!!... my only complaint is that of the packaging, it comes wrapped in plastic and hard to get out, I actually lost the backing of the tape for one of the front ones after it stuck to the plastic, had to remove from plastic and reinstall over 3M tape, But if your take your time unwrapping you should do ok, and I used a rag and a bottle of alcohol to clean the channels, very important these get cleaned good for a good bond.
