I'm not a proud individual. I've owned "put together" furniture all my life. You can find value in this type of furniture if you take the time to look. This is a good example. No, it's not real wood. But everything on this thing is heavy duty. From the closing mechanism to the door hardware. If you've owned this kind of furniture before then you know how you have to treat it. Use coasters. Placemats or a cut down table runner help a lot. If you set a frosty glass of lemonade down on this and walk away we'll ..... You're gonna be sorry later. I read reviews where parts were missing or damaged. Every single part was there, each part marked clearly and they even included some spare hardware as well. Believe me, some manufacturers don't, they just don't. Ok, the instructions were perfect. I put the thing together by myself even though they recommended help, especially when it comes to the top. It's heavy. I think the whole thing is over a hundred pounds. If you buy this and you get to the part where you attach the top your gonna say liar liar pants on fire, no way you put that on yourself. And I say Nay Nay ! I did so. My wife was sick and she would have been no help anyway cause she's as fat and old and decrepit as I am. I shoved a 1 inch thick board under the hinge and wiggled in two screws on each side and it was winner winner chicken dinner from there. I know it can be difficult to buy furniture sight unseen and just have a picture to rely on, but it really is a beautiful piece. The pictures provided by the seller are pretty spot on at least for the reclaimed barnwood design . The doors..... Fit perfect and slide well, not all janky and loose. If you can't tell by now I'm pretty happy with my purchase. Oh, last thing. Little tip. Don't over tighten those cam nut locks. I went all hulk Hogan on one and twisted it off inside. It was a pain getting out and severely cut into my beer drinking time. June 2025: I have an update that may be helpful to you in the care of your coffee table. it's POSSIBLE ( I don't know how likely) that during use of the sliding doors, especially if you have children, that scratches can occur in the area below the guide rail between the doors. This is caused by the screws that attach the upper hinge to the top of the door on the backside. Placing a small piece of gorilla tape or duct tape (you can find it in black if you look and it won't show anyway) on the head of each hinge screw will prevent the scratches from occurring. If they have already scratched your table an easy fix is to go through your kids sock drawer and find an old brown crayon. It does a dandy job of filling in and hiding the marks. My great grandkids like the markers instead of crayons and so I tried one as well and it worked fine.

Nice table for the price. Fairly easy to assemble and the lifting lid is a neat option. There's also options for which side opens and which way you want to orient the cabinets.

The table is beautiful and matches our end tables. We love it. My husband put it together by himself, and added four little wheels, which makes it a lot easier to move the table. A little downside is that the top lifts on the barn door side. And it is easier to lift it with two people. We searched a table like this in many stores and online, and finally found this one. We are very happy with our purchase.

This is great. We wanted a storage coffee table that matched our entertainment center from a different big-box store. This one is perfect. It's the same color (off-white/cream/ivory). It looks exactly like the picture, was easy to put together and the hinged top has been opened/closed about 835653 times and doesn't squeak, it doesn't stick, it's a smooth operation. The barn doors are also pretty smooth and you can slide them to each side, depending on what you want to display or hide underneath. Our dog does manage to knock the door off the rail sometimes because she lacks spatial awareness, but it just hooks over the rail and is easy to put back on. The storage underneath holds alot and you can hide it with the doors. Overall we are pleased with the purchase and have no complaints.

Our package was a total wreck when it got delivered, but we decided to opened it to see if any of the pieces were damaged. At a glance, none of them looked damaged. Half way through building the table we noticed one of the back panels was cracked. We decided to keep building it anyway. If that was the only thing that was damaged, then we would just deal with the small crack. Then we got to the side panels/legs. The first one went on great. Then there was the second one…The bolt screw and cam lock kept pulling out, as if the screws were not long enough to lock the cam bolt in. We Jerry-rigged the pieces to stay together and continued building the table. After all, we were almost finished building it and it would just be a pain to take it apart. Not to mention it’s very heavy, so returning it would be another pain. The other hardware seemed to hold the shoddy side panel/legs in place pretty well, but it was still a little wobbly. We finished building the table and I decided to contact the seller. I liked the table and we just spent over an hour putting it together, so I thought maybe they would replace the pieces. I’ve never had to contact a seller through Amazon, so it was a shot in the dark. Much to my surprise, they got back to me very promptly and said they would send me the new pieces! I received the pieces yesterday and have not had time to replaced them yet, but I was very pleased with the prompt response and customer service. There are just a few things I would like to see improved with this table. #1. As some of the other reviews mention, the barn doors do not glide very well. The design could be a little better, but they work fine. #2. The lift top opens towards the attractive part of the table. I would prefer it opened the opposite way, so that the pretty side would be showing for my guests to see (just a personal preference I guess). But the lift top opens just fine and it’s not flimsy like other reviews mention. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase and the customer service! It’s exactly what I was looking for and now that I have the new pieces it’s perfect!

I absolutely love this coffee table. The instructions were very clear and I put it together myself. The coloring is perfect. It is larger than my previous ashley lift top coffee table and I will definitely buy it again!!

I have to tell you, I did love this table. It’s strong, looked good, and the lift-top table feature is very cool. However, after about 8-9 months the wooden top started showing white spots. I couldn’t figure it out and then they just kept showing up. Apparently, the stain on this table top is thin and although I exclusively use coasters to put drinks on, that’s not enough. No idea what could be happening here, but I certainly won’t be able to keep this for much longer without looking like I’m back in college. The rest of the table is solid, but the top is the presentation of it. Very disappointing for the price.

bought this for my daughter, and she absolutely loves it! We had a small issue with a door screw, but the seller worked with us to get it resolved. Their customer service was top-notch. Highly recommend!
