Very handy and durable item. If you have never used one like me, look up instructions on YOUTUBE cause there are no instructions with it.

How to get warranty.

So it looks OK and was cheap, but the build quality is poor. The wood for the handles is cut too small such that the sharp edges of the metal irritate the hand. It’s a minor issue, to be fair, but is annoying at this price point. It looks good on the knife block though.

I used the heck out of my last honing rod so when I was looking to purchase new knives, I went ahead and got this too. I've only used it a couple of times, but so far it's good!
