After the first mixup of not getting the product that I ordered, which was this, I finally received it, and it comes in very handy, as I am always cooking and using herbs and spices. The hand hold is very well carved. Very durable easy to clean and not heavy at all.

I bought this to make guacamole and Mofongo. I've enjoyed it thoroughly so far! The weight is very nice and definitely solid. After conditioning the mortar I gave it a try and it made great Mofongo! My only small gripe is occasionally I get a little grittiness from the stone but it's to be expected I believe. Very large size allows me to make a good amount at a time. Awesome price and great value.
