Outlast Lipstain, 20 Admire, Smooth Application, Precise Pen-Like Tip, Transfer-Proof, Satin Stained Finish, Vegan Formula, 0.06oz

Being an older woman, I am not fond of lipstick because I feel like it lands in too many wrinkles and globs up. This lip stain is perfect for me. It glides on smooth, doesn't glob in my fine lines and stays on all day long. I don't like leaving lipstick on cups when I am drinking coffee or glasses when I am drinking my iced tea and this does not leave a trace. It stays on my lips. I love it. I have tried others, but none suited me as well as this. Highly recommend.

I never write reviews, but I've purchased this like legit 4 times! I love this so much because it looks like my lip color but better. I apply it every morning with my makeup and it stays on throughout the day. I usually reapply it after lunch, but it stays for hours. My trick to keep the longevity of this product on my lips is to apply in the morning and then do a layer of Aquaphor. Then throughout the day I'll use a tinted lip balm or gloss. Highly recommend if you're wanting a long-lasting color!! It's worth trying at least once to see if you like it :)

This lipstain color is exactly the color I need. It goes on easily, and I actually use it as a base for my lip gloss. It is easy to use and dries lightweight, but it does feel sticky while it take a few seconds to dry. The reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is because this one dried out fast (faster than another color of the same item), the color doesn't last more than a couple of hours, and-silly though it is-it doesn't let the lid stick on the end while in use. That's not a deal-breaker, but it would be a convenience. However, I do like the color, and I will order another one soon to give it a second chance.

I haven't quite figured out the angle of this lip???. It's a cute color, but I didn't find the lip stain long lasting. It was even hard to put on due to it being on the dry side. I even put a little lip gloss on before using it, and it was still dry. Just another cosmetic gadget with no real authentic use that we ladies all seem to keep falling for.

Good but doesn’t stay for too long

I was hesitant at first because after I applied it and it was dry to the touch, it would transfer to everything, cups, napkins, even my hands when I touched my face. BUT.... then after some trial and error, I figured out that after application, you need to let the stain dry for a few minutes and blot off the excess with a tissue. The stain stays, but the color isn't as deep and saturated as when first applied, but it is definitely noticeable. Once you dry and blot, the stain stays throughout the day and through meals. I took a picture in the morning after drying / blotting and a picture at the end of the day after a day of drinking my water through a straw all day and eating meals. I still had to use soap to remove it before bed. I am definitely purchasing again and again.

I was really excited to use this as a lip liner maybe is meant to be used fully on your lip. I like the applicator and the pigment was great at first but it didn’t seem to dry down. The nyx one dries out fast on the round tip even though I keep it upside down but it does dry out the sides don’t though. And it lasts all day. Idk the formula just didn’t dry down it reminds me as just a water stain. Idk.

Review is for Color: 20 Admire Lip stains are my favorite lip product these days, but I am particular about them. I don’t like the types that use a wand and then we dip it into liquid. Since Covergirl Outlast Lipstain is like a marker, I was excited for it. I like using this as my lip liner since it goes well with PH lipsticks by Magic Kiss and MoodMatcher. I don’t see myself using the CG lipstain alone since it’s semi drying and can be patchy. I only have one color so I don’t know if every shade is patchy. To be clear, the lipstain doesn’t cause my lips to be dry. It’s just not moisturizing the lips. Depending on the baseline of your natural lips the experience will be different for everyone. I think CG lipstains are best used with a gloss, topper, or another lipstick to fill in my lips. I apply the lipstain on dry, clean lips. I allow it to fully dry before applying something over it. It's a matte finish. However, nothing is transferproof on my lips including this product since I snack/eat often throughout the day. Transfer is minimal and it doesn’t get messy compared to traditional lipstick. It’s probably long lasting and smudge-proof if you fast. Pigmentation was good. Better than r.e.m. beauty’s lip stain marker. It has a light fruity smell. Almost cotton candy at times. Non-offensive. Not overpowering. I did not notice any bitter taste in my mouth. Made in the USA with imported parts. I really have no complaints about this product besides the color is wrong for me. I chose Admire (20) because I thought it was a lightish pinky mauve. Instead, it’s a dark mauve color like 90’s grunge. A plum shade. Keep in mind I am light-skinned with yellow undertone. It would look different on a deeper skin tone. The swatches/doodling I did on my hand looks lighter than on my lips. It was quite difficult to capture the color accurately in my photos. Hopefully my review is still helpful. I want to order more colors so I’ll update my review in the future. Would I recommend this lippie? It’s definitely not for everyone. It really depends on what you want out of it or expect from it. I have buck teeth and traditional (waxy/creamy) lipsticks always get stuck on my teeth so I find lipstains/PH lipsticks work the best for my type of mouth. My options are kind of limited.

Colors on like a felt, dries quickly. I have Admire and Jazzberry, both are awesome. It does fade quicker if you use a shiny topcoat. It seems to last longer if it's just left matte. Reapply after lunch for all day wear.

Unfortunately it came opened and used. I really like the color though

I love the covergirl listens. They are a staple in my lip routine. They stay long and can look super natural no matter what colour you take.
