These are excellent!
I will never buy another almond. It’s rare to find such great unpasteurized brand. Just buy them already! :)

Best of brands I tested for almond milk
I use these to make almond milk only (have no need to sprout), which is used primarily in my twice daily cup of Americano coffee or cappucino. This requires foaming the milk. After much experimentation I have hit on the optimum proportions and procedure to making a "stable" almond milk, with no additives. This brand produces the thickest richest-tasting, nuttiest foamed milk of the three brands I have tested.I make a batch about every 10 days, and have had no problem with it going bad. Some tips for those who make their own almond milk:1) Soak almonds for at least 24-hours IN THE REFRIGERATOR (utmost importance);2) Drain almonds, rinse with cold water, and drain again;3) add water in the proportion of 2-parts water to 1-part drained almonds and puree in a powerful high speed blender -- like the Vitamix - at highest speed for 2-min ONLY -- not longer;4) Pour pureed liquid into a clean bowl through a very fine sieve/strainer (such as a metal jelly strainer). Discard what's in the strainer;5) Rinse out the blender container, add back the strained liquid, and blend on high for one-min. only.6) Pour liquid into clean bowl again, rinse out the blender jar and fit a tightly woven nut bag in the rinsed blender jar.7) Pour liquid into the suspended nut bag, and gently squeeze through the bag into the blender jar until only solids are left in the nut bag.8) Refrigerate the milk immediately without any added flavors or sugar.

Recommended: Good, Raw Unpasteurized Almonds - Clearly Labeled
I use these for making sprouted almond butter. It says right on the package that they are raw and unpasteurized, which is exactly what you want. The origin is clearly labeled as made in California, and there is a website listed. Compared to the Spanish almonds I had been using, these are much cleaner. The rinse water wasn't nearly as muddy. They were also less expensive. The 3# package is the right amount to fully load my dehydrator for drying them after soaking. The flavor was good, the packaging was good, and the labeling was informative, unlike some brands that don't specify whether they are pasteurized or unpasteurized. The almonds I received on 3/31/21 had a "best by" date of 10-2022.

With the price of plant milk increasing…
I watched several YouTube videos on how to make my own almond milk. I have been making soy milk for several years and adding dates/vanilla as sweeteners. These almonds are in great shape and today made a mixture of almond milk and soy milk ( since soy beans or a little less expensive). Great taste because I believe the almonds are in perfect condition.

Sprouted!
Soaked overnight to sprout and then dehydrated at 105F to preserve the enzymes. These actually sprouted, so there is no question that they were not pasteurized. My family enjoyed the first. The photo is from the 2nd ordet, which also sprouted. Very happy to have found these and will order again.

Bland
These almonds didn't have the "almond flavor" one would expect from fresh raw almonds. Raw almonds purchased in Europe taste much better.

I never knew
Until recently I didn't realize the truth about most "raw" almonds (scam?). These are truly, raw, like nature made them. Careful though, after you've had these you may never go back to what you find in most places. The texture is better, the flavor is way better, the health benefits are better - they are just better. Only wish I could get these in 10-20 lb bags since I share them with friends and family and they don't last long.

What a great almond taste what a great price!
Perfect! I wish to thank-you for making this product available on Amazon - it allowed me to experience the PERFECT almond! Your product stuck out from the crowd because it was unpasteurized and because of the lower price than your so called competitors. I store mine in the refrigerator. For immediate consumption I put some in a quart mason jar with a speck of citric acid and fill with distilled water. Just remember to change the water once a week. They soak beautifully, sprout and taste phenomenal. Thank-you BH Almond ranch and Amazon!
