Too small to hold a youth alto sax.

Ordered this for my son, who's been playing alto sax for years. He's always carried his sax around in a standard black hard case, but he likes this case much better. It looks really nice and fits the instrument very well, with extra room and pocket for some accessories and replacement parts. It looks much nicer than a black hardcase, and it's much easier to carry. You can use the handle or the backpack straps, depending on the situation. There's even a loop at the top if you want to hang it on a peg. When he travels, he'll still use the hardcase if he's going to put it through as a checked bag on an airplane. But, for most all other situations, he said he'd prefer using this case.Overall, it's a great option for anyone looking for something that's easier to carry and more stylish. It's a little on the expensive side, but otherwise, it's a great case!
