Franklin Sports Street Hockey Goal - Official Regulation Steel Hockey Net - Street Hockey Goal Set

This net was bought to be used in an adult street hockey league i am starting in my area. We recently had a drop in game to test it. To start off, building it. Its was extremely easy. Took about 40 minutes. The first ten were spent on the frame. Extremely simple, click into place but are still tough. The nets a different story. It is not hard to put on, its just time consuming. Overall though, its sturdy, its tough, and it looks great. But do not use roller hockey pucks, it will dent the posts. Try using franklin street pucks or balls. The pucks dont slide well but they wont dent your posts. The net is fairly heavy. Roughly 35 pounds. People who complained about the netting probably didnt tie it right, or just got screwed over. The net is very durable. And the reviews that say the posts dent, well they do with roller pucks and ice hockey pucks. This is a street hockey net and it is not built as tough as a roller or ice hockey net. So if you use it for its intended purpose, it is a great net at a great price.

This is a great quality, sturdy net. Unfortunately, the assembly directions were terrible, so i lt took us a bit longer to put together. From start to finish, including lacing the net onto the frame, it took me and my 13 year old son just over two hours. Its heavy and holds up to slap shots into the frame and net itself. No dents. Very happy with this purchase!

Easy enough for an 11 year old to put together, just needed a little assistance due to really cold hands haha. Nice and sturdy for hours of driveway play!

Nice net. Tubes are a little thin for older kids. It get dented, but good for the price.

The assembly took way longer than it should for a hockey goal - almost an hour - and we still weren’t able to assemble correctly. The top white piece was bent at the wrong angles so it didn’t fit into the red Y pieces correctly. We tried to make do with what we could do to push it & screw it in, only for it to come out after 10 mins of extremely light use. When we tried to push it back in, the red vertical posts cracked. This isn’t worth $40 let alone the $95 we paid for it.

I like the price. I dislike the thickness of the tubes. Netting is pretty strong. I've played hockey for 30 plus years. Bought this for me and my son he's 4. If I was to do slap shots with ice hockey pucks and hit the tubes I'm pretty sure they'd get some pretty good dents in them. Overall for the price there really good street hockey nets. I'd buy another one.

We purchased two for our backyard and I am glad I got the 2" size. These are really sturdy. Although it took a little while to assemble, it was easy. Most of the time was spent stringing the net.
