4X AquaHouse AH-UIF External Fridge Water Filter fits Samsung & Haier Fridge Freezer Models with External Filters only

I am so glad I swapped to these AquaHouse AH UIF filters because the quality is every bit as good as the original brand but at a much better price. The packaging was excellent as each of the four filters came individually sealed to keep them sterile and the box was sturdy enough to store the spares in my pantry without them getting damaged. In terms of usability they are a total dream to install. I was worried about the push fit connectors but they clicked into place perfectly on my Samsung fridge with no leaks at all. I really appreciate that they include the locking clips for extra security which gives me total peace of mind. The water quality is outstanding as it has completely removed that slight chlorine taste from my tap water and the ice cubes are crystal clear now. Since this is a four pack I am set for the next two years which makes it such a convenient and cost effective solution for my kitchen.

These are great value and look as good a quality as the original manufacturer filter, but as a novice to fridge freezers with ice maker I made a mistake by not flushing the filter before use. The instructions say nothing about flushing but neither did Samsungs instructions. First cup of chilled water was grey so after a quick google I then flushed about 4 or 5 litres through before I was certain it was clear. Emptied ice bucket and all good.

Make sure both the inlet and outlet tubes are really firmly inserted into the adapter as far as possible; it's easy to only partially insert them which will result in water spilling everywhere when you release the stopcock. Other than that, the filter is a direct replacement for my Best Water Technology one, fitting the same tubes and wall clamp, for a fraction of the price.

I use these filters with our Samsung Fridge/Freezer and they provide great filtration of our water supply. They are very simple to replace, they do not leak, and are very durable in construction. I reaplace each 3 months out of habit, and when I've forgotten or missed one cycle they continue to operate well until the next cycle.
