Not plug and play. I have a3 8L rear speakers whit amp.Not working at all.Don’t waste your time and money.Delivery come quickly but the item is useless. Unless you can wire it yourself but then you wont need this.

Not plug and play as you would think
As another reviewer stated this is not plug and play. I used this in a 2003 A4 with a half amplified setup and you will need to do the following;Cut and splice the remote wire to get your amplifier to work. The way this comes wired out of the box will not work even though the parts are supplied, you have to do this bit yourself (why couldn't this be done at the factory?!)You will need a powered antenna adaptor that will also need to be spliced into your remote wire! (I used bullet connectors to crimp these together and allow changes later if I have to)Find and piggy back a switched live or permanent live (be aware of battery drain if you use a permanent live)Be aware that your rear speakers will whine slightly. This kit is not brilliant and if you have a head unit with RCA out, use the other kit that is available as it will give you a MUCH better signal.Be also prepared for quite a bit of tucking of cables, there is a lot here and clipped on to the factory loom there is even more!Tolerances of the ISO connectors are pretty bad and I had to use quite some force to get mine to connect to my head unit when they work fine in another car / wiring adaptor.

Does the job but not exactly 'plug and play'. Some install skill required!
Used this on our 2005 Audi A4. It does work but isn't exactly 'plug and play'. You have to run a blue wire from the new head unit to the blue wire on the adapter to get the factory amp to turn on (I forgot this first attempt). You will also need to run in an ignition feed wire as the Audi uses a CANBUS system to turn the factory head unit in and off, I used fuse 5 in the fuse box and fitted a piggy back 10a fuse connector then ran a wire under the dash all the way to the head unit. To get the radio to work you will also need to buy a powered ISO aerial adapter (also uses the blue feed wire). It took a good hour of fiddling and a few crimp connectors to get this working as it should.

Didn’t work
No power without adaptation of wiring and rear speakers would not work on an Audi A2
