Ironclad GUG-01-XS General Utility Gloves, Extra Small : desertcart.in: Home Improvement Review: I'm a woman with what I'd guess are fairly average-sized hands, and the extra smalls were perfect! What a treat, to have work gloves that are *actuall*y work gloves and fit! Many "women's" work products are of lesser quality than "men's." So my choices have been to buy useless pink-with-daisies women's gardening gloves, or men's gloves that are hugely over-sized. I've already put these through some pretty hard work and they are holding up just great. They are very comfortable, breath well on the back of the hand, don't limit your dexterity, and the sweat/snot wiper patch is quite handy LOL I think if I was doing work that was any rougher than what i am right now, I'd buy the next version up, with the better reinforced palm/fingers. For my purposes though (cutting down brush, chopping wood, moving stones, digging gravel) these have been perfect. Review: Awesome gloves, tuff but comfortable. Highly recommend.

I bought a xs size and they were perfect for my small hands. They are realy durable and nice to work with. I bought an extra set for when one is too dirty or wet to work with.

I've gone through at least 4 dozen pairs of these gloves over the last 10 years. Yes, leather gloves are more durable. Yes, chunkier gloves are more protective. But the magic of this glove is the fit and dexterity. I'm a small female, but work rough with my hands. I have tried many other brands and models, but none offered such tight tactile control or a good fit for my small hands. These are top priorities for me. I have compact but sturdy and strong (some would say stumpy) hands. My palm measures 4" wrist crease to middle finger crease, and my middle finger is a wee 3". Palm width at the thumb is 3.5". The XS fits like... well, a literal glove. It breathes well in the central Texas summer, and lasts me about 3-4 weeks of rough work or 5-6 weeks of lighter work. I keep 3 pairs on rotation at all times. I only ever wear through the right glove, as I'm right handed. If you are an XS and left handed, we should talk. I have a box of perfectly good lefts that I can't bring myself to throw away. They go through wash/dry really well, but I tend to handwash them with dish soap after a soak and and set them outside to dry. They're always dry by morning- but I am in Texas. I do not expect them to be waterproof or impermeable (that would be a miserable condition in a Texas summer, which is 6-8 months out of the year). I occasionally get a pair that splits a seam prematurely (I flip them inside out and stitch with 20lb or 50lb fishing line, depending on where the seam is). I wear an old pair of Carhartt insulated gloves in the 3 cold days we get here, and have a pair of waterproof gloves for wet or damp conditions (also rare in my field and practices). But overall, I'm stuck on these. As long as they make them, I'll buy them. Whenever they go on a good sale, I stock up. It'll be a rough time if I ever need to switch out for another everyday glove.

These gloves are built tough and durable. I've used this brand for many years while open-pit mining, wherein they were subjected to regular contact/abrasion against hard rock and digging into mud, at times. A pair lasted one to two months of extreme usage, but in normal use, will last much longer. The leather is thick and well stitched. The sizes fit accurately to standard USA sizing charts for gloves.
