This is a review so my rating will count.
This little buddy works with the sun so you will not have to change batteries. It is not the brightest light. I am yet to get hit by a motor vehicle during urban commutes. Therefore, I assume it can be seen well enough for its decent price.

Good. Cheap. Don't have to worry about charging.
I've been using this light for a few months now and like it. It's not the brightest, but my friend says it's bright enough riding in the day time. Often times I'll see bikers riding at night or day time and see that their rear light is not on. i've had a co-worker get in a car crash at night. I asked him if he had a light on and he said his wasn't charged.I only ride in the day time and have never had to think about charging this light. I use it in the first mode (double flash, quick pause, double flash). I think this mode uses the least amount of power and can probably run the light with solar power alone if the battery is drained...maybe even charge the battery at the same time. In any case I store my bike indoors and just turn it on whenever I ride and it so far hasn't failed to run.The mount that connects the light to the bracket that connects to the bike is somewhat flexible. Once, I had set my bike against a railing to take a picture and it was blown over by a strong gust of wind. I kind of caught my bike with my leg keeping it from hitting the ground, but it bent the mount making the light point somewhat sideways. I just bent the mount back and straightened it out.It would be nice and I would pay more if they could make this light water resistant or even waterproof for those times people might get caught in the rain. For that I'm knocking off one star.
