In all candor, I was curious about what these would be like when they arrived. Silicone covered steel? Really? Yes, really, and they work and they're sturdy.The steel gives the dough scrapers strength and weight: they don't bend, even with stiff bread dough. The edges, though, about 1/8" all the way around, do bend just enough to clean the inside of a bowl thoroughly, even with stiff bread dough. The curved part of the dough scraper is progressively varied so you can turn it to find a curve that will match the curve of whatever bowl you're using.I'm not keen on the colors, though, but they look better in person than in the photograph. Nevertheless, the value of a tool is how well it works and not in how it looks.

easy to hold onto and work great
I just got these and love them! They are just the right size, sturdy but flexible enough to scrape bowls clean. The silicone is easy to hold onto and doesn't feel sticky at all. I think these are a great value for the money, and the colors are cute. I bought them to scrape down bread dough and they are perfect.
