Solo New York All-Star Hybrid Backpack, Burgundy

The backpack that I use in every single trip!! Any airline, I never had any problem flying with this backpack. I recommend 100% this SUPER backpack. GREAT QUALITY, PERFECT SIZE!

Wasn't sure about this bag initially as I was looking for a more business look rather than a geeky/technical one. But the material used on this bag (especially on the side and back panel) actually offers a nice leather-like look. What satisfies me the most is that the bag feels pretty much the same no matter it's fully loaded or not. The side two side panels are inserted with really sturdy material (like that of a suitcase) so the bag won't collapse even when it's empty, and I don't know how they did it, but you never feel like things are flying all over the place even when you only have a book in it. I do hope that it could have one or two extra quick-access pockets on the outside, as the small compartments on the inside are not really convenient to reach. And a pocket for a water bottle would be nice, the bag has handles on both sides, but you will only ever use one of them and the other should be removed for room for a bottle holder. Really surprised that I could fit a pair of really chunky shoes in the bottom compartment without having to take anything else out, and the bag looks pretty much the same from the outside, never had such experience with bags below 25 liters

I just replaced my Solo Rival with the Backpack Duffel Bag and am so impressed. I use my Solo's as a tech bag for laptop, IT label maker and multiple tools for Satellite TV tech work. The main reason I went looking for the Duffel Bag was I just found an expensive HDMI meter in my Rival bag I thought I lost a year ago. With the many 19" deep zippered storage compartments, it slipped down to the bottom of bag and never saw again until yesterday. With the Duffel Bag it took everything in the Rival that looks twice as big and now lets me see all my meters and tools in the main compartment. This bag is pure genius. The Duffle has many zippered compartments for USB's, PS, and test cables it's amazing. I prefer the shoulder strap vs the hidden backpack straps making it easier to carry being so compact. Give this backpack serious consideration you will be impressed.

There are many zipped pockets, it looks pretty cool and there lots of handles. In a rainy day it may get wet through the space where the backpack handles come from.

This backpack looks much bigger on Amazon than it is in person. I was expecting a decent sized backpack, especially after the video showed the person putting some clothes, shoes and laptop in it. A bit disappointed in the size for sure, but I will keep it due to the design as well as not hassling the return process.

As expected, good quality, great carryon. Not the most supportive to wear as a backpack for long periods.

ME encantó, el diseño y el volumen que puede cargar. ME gusta la distribución de compartimentos. Hasta ahora ha resistido el peso que le he metido. Me volvería a comprar otra. He batallaado mucho para encontrar una mochila que sea resistente, que no pese, que sea durable y que tenga una buena relación de calidad precio.

Lotsa handles and easy to carry. Smaller than I had expected.

This was the closest bag I could find to what I needed, a backpack with lots of side handles. It would have been better if this had been a top-loading Duffel instead of a suitcase-style opening though. There is no actual laptop sleeve, just a medium-size zipped pocket big enough for a large tablet. The exterior pocket on the bottom is barely big enough to hold a phone or wallet, and does not stretch or expand. Also, there could have been another pocket at the top but there isn't. The front compartment is big enough to hold a laptop isn't really a sleeve. It's big enough to hold a water bottle and coffee tumbler, but it also doesn't expand so it conflicts with the bag's internal space. The outer material is durable and rigid enough that this bag usually will stand upright, which is what I wanted. The shoe compartment was a nice bonus, and comes in handy from time to time.
