Amy Myers MD ImmuneIG (Formerly: Gut ImmuneIG)

I was very happy to try out this Myers "Gut Immune" because my gut was not in a happy place. I've been using it for a couple weeks now and so far felt minimal benefits. Like all 'naturally' derived supplements I realize that it may take a couple months to show some good solid benefits. In my opinion that's ok and better than the alternative. There are some immediate good points. This is a fine powder with minimal grittiness. This powder dissolves completely practically instantly into an absolutely no taste white beverage with no aftertaste and no side effects. All I need to do is remember to take it as recommended and be a little patient. It IS a little different than 'colostrum' products in that it is a bovine serum derived product which according to Dr. Myers is better tolerated and less allergenic than colostrum. There are, however, a couple issues I have with this product. Myers is a highly recommended and trustworthy company and all their products are quality but very expensive! This product is selling for $80 for only a month's worth. This is not something most people can keep up indefinitely. There are some things I just don't understand how they determine the cost of! I am also not happy with the bag it comes in! I am seeing more and more manufactures using these bags. I'm guessing they are less expensive and weigh less than bottles. Certainly, they look like they pack and travel easier. However, using these for powders ends up a mess! You get just a small, short handled scoop because that is what fits in the bag. So, you dig deep into the bag to find the scoop blowing product all over the place! It's just a mess. I would prefer to see this product in a short wide mouth jar for easy access and less mess! If you can get past the cons this is a very helpful product from a highly reputable company. Personally I will probably not get this again as it is way too expensive.

So I’ve had stomach issues for the last few years and it’s been exhausting. I have been on a gut healing journey the last year, so I was excited when I came across this. I think it is more of a protein that is also gut health friendly, which I have been looking for. Most of the protein powders out there do not have all these benefits and are gluten-free. Good taste, and can add in any drink. I think it needs to be used a little longer to see the full effect. I do have high hopes for this product with the ingredients! Will continue to drink it on my journey.

Oh boy, where do I start on this review. At $75 per order, it better perform miracles. Unfortunately, it hasn't shown itself, to be helpful. At this price, I would expect a glass jar, local honey comes in a glass jar. I feel like this is a product, you buy, when you want to flush your money down the drain. It will help in some way but, not worth the money. I'm just stuck in the middle on this product. However, the cost prevents me from coming back, period.

Dr. Amy Myeter’s immunoglobulin supplement is an excellent product. I have often wondered about the benefits of colostrum that nature provides in breastfeeding that all babies are not privy to. This seems like an innovative way to get those advantages and make up for the deficiencies at any age. Derived from bovine serum from grass-fed cattle it is a pure product that is very nutritious and supports the immune system. I added it to my protein smoothies with a ripe banana and organic frozen fruits and it doesn’t change the taste which is a plus. I also added it to my morning cup of green tea and it didn’t interfere with the flavor either. I like the many benefits it provides and how it supports my gut, hair and nails and can add a glow to my skin from the nutrients. I recommend this product for improved health and wellbeing.

This powder supplement is not palatable at all. The smell is pungent and smells like dirt. After mixing a scoop into a glass of water, this seems to intensify. It tastes *awful*. I held my nose and downed it as quickly as I could, but the flavor lingered as an aftertaste for a long time. I went through this for five days before I gave up. I experienced no digestive benefits whatsoever. This stuff is gross and I won't be trying it again.

This product doesn't seem to do anything positive for me. The most it's done is make me sick to my stomach. This, like all supplements, may work great for some people. However, for me, it's done nothing but the formentioned upset stomach. All in all, this product is not something I'd buy again and thusly I can not really recommend it either.

My gut health has been off for years due to unwanted stress. I have tried many things which have all help a little. I wanted something all natural that could give me true effective results. I mix this in with my morning smoothie or green powders. You can add it to hot or cold drinks. There are 30 servings and the bag is 3.17oz. It is costly though. Would I buy it again? Not sure. I will finish the bag first and see what results I get. Restoring gut health is not easy nor is it a fast process. If it works I will spend the money and buy it again.I have not had any issues with the powder.
