Value & Convenience
Good price with convenient built in USB C charging. Works well with the OM 1 Mkii camera and even battery level displays. Capacity seems respectable after a couple of days of shooting. Recommended.

Perfect battery for the OM System flagships!
This Wasabi Power LP-E6NH kit is a total vibe for anyone tired of carrying a brick-sized wall charger. If you're looking for an in-depth breakdown of why this is a "must-grab," let’s get into the details of the "Ginger Series" setup. The "Why" Behind the Wasabi Love First off, Wasabi has been the reliable cousin of the battery world for years. While some third-party batteries make your camera act like it's seen a ghost (we’re talking "Incompatible Battery" warnings), these are fully decoded. That’s tech-speak for: your camera actually recognizes it, shows you the exact percentage, and lets you hit those high-speed shutter bursts without the camera throttling your performance. The Game Changer: USB-C Integration The real star of the show here is the Direct USB-C charging on the battery itself. The Scenario: You’re in the middle of a shoot, your bag is overflowing, and you realize you forgot the external charger. The Fix: You don't need it. You can literally plug a USB-C cable (like the one for your phone or iPad) directly into the side of the battery. Pro Tip: This means you can juice up your spares inside your bag using a portable power bank while you’re still shooting with your primary. It’s peak efficiency. The Nitty-Gritty Specs Capacity: We’re looking at 2400mAh. For context, that’s a beefy upgrade over standard LP-E6 models. It gives you that extra "buffer" for long video sets or those 2,000-shot days. Build Quality: These use Premium Grade-A cells. You aren't getting that weird "swelling" or heat issues common with the super-cheap knockoffs. The Kit: Since you grabbed this on Amazon, it usually comes with the dual USB charger too. Even though the batteries charge via USB-C directly, having the dual dock is great for overnight resets when you need to top off two at once using any USB wall adapter. Final Verdict If you want to spend less time tethered to a wall and more time striking a pose (or capturing one), this is it. It’s high-quality, high-capacity, and it actually plays nice with your gear. Wasabi delivered the goods again—reliable, smart, and way more affordable than the name-brand alternatives without sacrificing the tech.

Cost effective but not equal to OEM.
Cost effective for a backup. Does not last as long as OEM (maybe 80%) and battery shot count does not always reset.

Good bang for dollar.
Works as described. A few less shots than the OEM pack but not bad. Easy to charge with usb c. Have used Wasabi for other cameras. Always a good value for money.

Approximately 90% of OEM BLX-1
First up, simple in-camera capacity testing resulted in about 90% the capacity of genuine BLX-1 batteries. This battery averaged 228 shots per charge while the genuine BLX-1 averaged 250. Testing methodology here was with an OM-1 and 100-400mm lens set to take 1 picture per minute. Perfectly acceptable capacity. What attracted me to this offering was the standalone USB-C charging. In part due to the convenience, but primarily due to the associated charging circuitry. The typical flaw with third party camera batteries is that they have no circuitry to balance the two battery cells inside - it's usually just a 'dumb' charging circuit because of the proprietary nature of camera batteries. By comparison USB-C charging circuits are a commodity item, and while I'm not going to open it up to confirm such is the case I'd be quite surprised if it wasn't using a properly designed USB-C charging circuit that balances the two cells while charging.

Cost effective and convenient battery for the OM 1
This is a very convenient and cost effective battery solution for the OM1. The fact that it can be charged directly outside the camera without a separate charger is very helpful. I cannot comment on longevity but initial use suggests that battery life is very close to the OEM battery. OM System batteries are very expensive and this looks to be a decent 3rd party option at a fraction of the cost. Recommended.

Convenient, but overpriced and under capacity
So after a couple weeks with one of these batteries as my backup, I finally had a need to swap it in… and there’s no way it’s anywhere near 2400mah capacity. It went from 100% to dead in maybe half the time of the authentic BLX-1 that came with my OM-3, and this was with airplane mode on, fast sleep and power shutoff settings all configured for maximum longevity, etc. Did the battery work? Sure, but I had battery/charge anxiety all afternoon after swapping it in and seeing how fast the charge was draining, and ultimately couldn’t take as many photos as I would have with a genuine battery. Given the plethora of other brands with the exact same rated capacity and built-in usb port, it’s pretty clear that these are all from the same factory, so there’s not much point to pay a “premium” price for any one brand, especially when other brands give you two-packs for barely more money than the price of this single battery.

Convenient and quality backup batter for my OM-1
So nice to be able to charge using USB-C. Works fine in my OM-1 Mark II. I cannot compare to the original relating to number of photos but for the convenience I don't care. I will purchase a second otherwise I still need a charger to recharge my original battery.
