I recently purchased the FNIRSI 2C23T 3 in 1 Handheld Oscilloscope Multimeter DDS Generator and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations. I am revising this review as it “was me” sort of. It occurred to me after posting a somewhat negative review that possibly something was wrong and “floating“ with the probe. On careful inspection I noticed when trying some DC voltages that odd things were happening as I moved around probing different points. Using a clip cord instead of the supplied little jumper for the “negative“ my problem disappeared. Then, of course, I measured some AC with the clip cord and voilà problem solved 120 VAC was measuring reliably 338 V peak to peak. Which is more than close enough for me for the price of this little scope. On close inspection, the little clip cord for the probe was broken at the alligator clip end. Replacing it with a new clip, solve the problem. Further, the seller reached out to me to rectify the problem after I posted the review. My original review : I don’t think it is me, but…. Didn’t really get around to trying this thing out for a couple of months. Bought it mostly as my 40 year-old Tektronix gave up the smoke, and I use/need a scope every 5 years at most. Presently I had bought it as I wondered about the waveform (ends up pretty poor) from my whole house Generac guardian generator. So this little scope is convenient as heck, but unfortunately shows only 196 to 200 V peak to peak reading my 120 V RMS generator, or a on a quality solar generator it’s only reading 185-190, or on line power 190-195. So although I am super impressed by the display, reasonably impressed by the functionality, for actual AC measurement, it seems pretty useless. Several calibration trials didn’t seem to make any difference. Perhaps I will see if there is a firmware update. On the multimeter, no problems whatsoever. 120 V RMS is 120 V RMS.

Works well in small cramped areas as second oscilloscope. Portable. Multimeter is excellent. Component tester works great. Signal generator produces multiple dc signals. Oscilloscope works well, only quirk is it defaults to ac coupling when auto button is pressed, could likely be fixed by a future software hopefully. Slightly confusing UI. But great value for money.

This handheld oscilloscope and multimeter combo works great for most tasks. The screen is clear, and it tests voltage, current, and components well. The DDS generator is a nice extra. The only downside is the controls aren’t super intuitive, and the manual could be better. Overall, a solid, versatile tool if you don’t mind spending some time figuring it out

Seems to work fine, great buy for the price. My only objection is that it only came with one osilloscope probe, but that was all that was pictured. I ordered a second and it's on it's way. So far I really like it, hopefully it holds up but it seems to be built well.

The little o'scope that CAN. Works great for audio and HF radio frequencies (up to10 Mhz). Loved that it came with two 100 MHz probes with hooks that compensate well. The probes can be color-coded for easy identification when using both oscilloscope channels. The signal generator, accessible from the main menu, can be used simultaneously with any other instrument (oscilloscope or multimeter). The signal output defaults to 3.0 volts peak-to-peak and can be adjusted up to 3.3 volts peak-to-peak. Common waveforms are available, including Sine, Square, and DC. The frequency counter on the oscilloscope works well, although it changes from 799 Hz to 0.80KHz, which is a little visually distracting and not great if you're looking for exactly 800 Hz (which I was) since a digit of accuracy is lost at the switching point. I'd prefer that it switch at 1 KHz, but it's hard to complain for the price. It's also missing a calibration output for easy probe compensation checks, but use the signal generator to send a square wave at the frequency you intend to work near, connect the oscilloscope probe(s) to the included test leads, and the probe compensation is easily adjusted. The multimeter performs common tasks needed with modern Digital Multi-Meters, including auto-ranging Voltage, Resistance. and Capacitance tests. I haven't used it to measure current, but I probably won't ever do that anyway - I prefer to test current with a dedicated current meter to avoid mistakes and letting out the magic smoke. I ran the oscilloscope for several hours and barely moved the battery indicator icon on the screen. The battery quickly charged on a USB-C charger (not included, but a USB-C to USB-A cable is included) and will charge while it is being used. It's an excellent product for the price, in my opinion. Multi-function handheld unit with a very good screen and logical layout. The oscilloscope function is quite good and, setup and used properly, will clearly give frequency (and relative power) information on a unit that is very portable.

I’m very impressed with the functionality and the quality of this little unit, the telescope is very clear and easy to read. Easy to change settings and works well. Highly recommend this I do demonstrations in the automotive world and I’m utilizing this as telescope also diagnose many hard to find problems on a Land Rover with the same scope highly recommend

The unit provides a great mix of functionality (Oscilloscope, signal generator and multimeter) in a compact package ideal for hobbyists or those needling maximum functionality in a small package. The interface is clear and intuitive, and the ability to do firmware upgrades online means that new functionalities could be added over time as these are developed.

For its price, I didn't expect something super good, and what I got was a very usable oscilloscope and multimeter. I bought this for my electronics hobby, and it worked much better than the cheap DIY thing I was using before. The frequencies I was working with were around 10kHz to 100kHz, which it handled with no problem. Worth noting however, is that if you intend to use it for low frequencies, like 100 Hz or lower (set to ~5ms), the display becomes extremely choppy. Set the interval as high as 10ms, and it drops to around 2 frames per second. As for the multimeter functionality, that has no issues I could see.

Good device for the hobbyist. Has two channels and a signal generator. Also, it comes with a DMM. I have tested it and it appears to be accurate enough for my needs.

I purchased this for some small electronic projects I have going on with XAIO ESP32s. This thing is amazing at the price point. It was well packaged and complete with nice probes and flexible wires that connect them (must be made out of silicone). The oscilloscope functions works great too!
