London Calling: Bacon, Freud, Kossoff, Andrews, Auerbach, and Kitaj

This is a great catalog, which is from the exibition:London calling from 2016,held at the J.Paul Getty museum.What a lovely collection of artists and colour plates! The puplishers have really made this in top chality all over. Nice glossy paper, and the binding is also superb,sewn in with blue &white thread, so it matches the rest(and I DO care about such things in books)The artists featured are: Bacon, Freud, Kossoff,Andrews, Auerbach and Kitaj. The essays are all very interesting, and I actually read them all,because they were good. I counted about 90 colour illustrasions, most full page, or half page plates,and that is not included pictures of the artists themself,and a few black and white. If you can get yourself a copy of this,don't hesitate! Good job Getty/Tate puplishers,this is a high chality book, and a fantastic addition to any book collection!
