Vital Essentials Freeze Dried Minnows Cat Treats, 1.0 oz Bag

I’m really impressed with the Vital Essentials Freeze Dried Minnows! My cat absolutely loves the taste, and I love that they’re a single ingredient treat without a bunch of unnecessary additives. What cat doesn't love Minnows? My cat actually prefers when I cut the minnows into smaller pieces and mix them into his wet food. It adds an extra boost of flavor, and he gets so excited when he smells them in his food! He also likes the crunchy texture because it gives him something to chew and may help support dental health compared with softer treats. They’re lightweight, easy to portion, and my cat has had no problems with digestibility. For the quality and the fact that you get so many treats in the bag, I think these are a great value for the money. A little goes a long way, especially when I break them up and mix them into his meals. If you’re looking for a simple, high quality treat that your cat will actually enjoy, I definitely recommend giving these a try! 🐟🐱❤️

I just recently adopted my kitten Phoenix from the Hutchinson Animal Shelter about a week ago and He is very spoiled and very grateful. Everyday he enjoys and looks forward to his treats and him laying down is after he eats 2. We will continue buying the minnows as well as trying the other kinds you have. Thank you guys so much as our boy is very happy with the taste and the first time he tried it was truly the first time he ever had anything like it and you could tell his face light up and continues to do so everytime and his natural instincts kick in like a kid with candy. Very very happy with this product !!! You won't be disappointed if you truly love your fur babies and want to spoil them !!!!!! First purchase but won't be the last !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^-^

My 3 1/2 pound Pomeranian absolutely love these. She eats the fish like a chewy , puts it between her paws and she eats them like that , and my two cats love them too, but I have to cut them in threes. I’ll probably end up cutting them in threes anyway, and just giving little pieces to the dog and 2 cats , which isn’t a bad idea because the small bag is quite expensive but so happy to feed them these little minnows because they’re healthy and good to know that’s all they’re they are little fish. Nothing else in them no preservatives nothing bad.! hope my review was helpful

Cats go crazy for these! When I first got them they were confused, and not sure how to eat them. They can be tougher to chew, so I’d definitely watch them while they’re eating them, but they clearly love them and always ask for more. Good amount for a good price. My cats love the few treats we’ve tried from this brand. You can also tell the ingredients are quality.

My best friend and I, Love these treats for our cats. They enjoy them so much, it really helps when grooming them, by trimming their nails or giving their fluffy paws a haircut. Our cats are now acclimated to just let us do their grooming with way less fuzz than before. Our cats tolerate grooming more than ever because they expect these delicious treats right after, so thank you so much for these great-quality treats. I have these treats on a subcription so our cats will always be looking forward to them.

All three cats won’t go near these. They are just not interested even a tiny little bit. After some time, one of my cats started to really love these. The other one still is not interested but my big black male cat cannot get enough. Changed my rating from 1 to 4 stars

My cat loves these. I was trying to mix things up with getting him something new besides the freeze dried salmon and chicken he usually gets. It’s been great. Until his annual check-up today and crystals have come back into his urine and they identified some bladder stones. Adding these minnow treats has been the only change in food/treats in the last year. If your cat has existing urinary issues, I’d check with your vet before feeding these as I’ve been instructed to stop immediately due to the high mineral content. Just because they are “healthy” doesn’t mean they are the right choice for every cat. And maybe that’s obvious, but I thought maybe this info could help someone. So 5 stars because my cat loves them and there is truly nothing wrong with them. They just aren’t right for my cat. And for the record, I don’t think they have an overwhelming smell like other reviewers. And I tend to have a sensitive nose. Of course there is a fish smell, because that’s what they are.

So I've been buying the same ol treats (temptations) for my 3 cats for a few years now. Hv bought all the different flavors also. So when I seen these minnow treats I was like, hmm I bet theyd like something new. And I was right. They enjoyed them. My 2 older girl cats only liked the tiny minnows & my teenage boy cat liked them no matter what size. I had to put them in another ziplock bag cause my boy would try to rip open the package. At 1st I gv them 1 each night for a few weeks, before bed. Then I noticed my older girls were like nah, we good & wouldn't touch them anymore. So I stopped giving them any until about 1 week ago. They started eating them again. It was an ok experience with trying something new but I personally would not buy again. I'll stick to temptations. Looked easy to chew & tasty for them. Theyre supposed to be more nutritious then other treats. Ingredients were all natural dried minnows. There's a bunch of them in package, good quality! Color silver. Like minnows look like.

need to sell in larger packs, my pets loved these and were gone so quickly

Both my cat and dog love these treats. It’s pricey but worth it. I got them because of their dander and I thought I was imagining it but nope - their coats are shiny and almost dander free after 3 days of one treat/ day. I have to break the little minnow up for my cat but my dog just eats it whole. Will continue to use!
