Gozney Roccbox Oven Mantel with an Air-Vented Stainless Steel Shelf

Game changer! Just having this extension shelf for the Gozney Roccbox changes the whole pizza making experience! While it is only a few extra inches, it allows bringing the pizza out closer to you to assist in turning the pizza; which makes for a much better pizza baking. As I’ve been learning to use the Gozney Roccbox, I noticed sometimes the pizza gets too close to the flame and might burn. With this extended shelf, I am able to launch the pizza closer to the outer edge and spin it more easily to maintain a safe distance and prevent crust burning. For me it has made all the difference in producing perfect pizzas every time. I'm sure with time I would get the hang of it but as a newbie pizza baker, this has allowed me to make more perfect pizzas in the last few weeks. It comes directly from Gozney, well packaged, and with warranty information. It arrived a day early, which is always nice. It is very easy to snap on to the edge of the Gozney Roccbox. When not in use, it stores easily inside the Roccbox oven, allowing you to still place your cover over the Roccbox. If you own a Gozney Roccbox, don’t wait any longer. Go ahead and order the shelf. You don’t think you need it, but you do!

This fit perfectly on my roccbox, wish I had found it a lot sooner! (It’s heavy and very sturdy). I can now rotate my pizza pulling it outward a little without being afraid of dropping it. It’s simple to fit onto the roccbox front, and it’s not permanent so you can remove it. Just clicks onto the front. Only “flaw” I see is, if you plan to take it off each time, I wonder how much wear it’ll do to the corners of the oven frame or the stone itself where it touches it? Also, I need to remove it if I have a lot of “debris” (hash/dust) to sweep out after heat burns all the charring leftover from the pizzas. It’s NBD, more like a flaw of both oven and the ledge. Overall I’d definitely recommend it.

Very happy with this purchase and would recommend purchasing if you have a Gozney Roccbox pizza oven. It makes turn the pizza very easy as it provides extra space.

Definitely made it easier to place and remove the pizza from the oven.

This is a must have, especially for new pizza makers like myself! The extra room to maneuver the pizza (or tray if doing Detroit style) makes it much easier. Super sturdy, and easy to hook on (like 5 seconds). Would be 5 stars if I could more easily remove it so that I could place the cover/carrying case on it easier. Otherwise, it's great and I recommend 100%!

Love the added shelf. I feel it is totally necessary for ease of use of the Gozney Roccbox!

I refused over the years by products that were not official to my Gozney. I purchased this because I was teaching someone how to make pizzas and I thought this would be easier for them to learn the process. It takes seconds to snap into place under the 30. Highly recommend! I actually like the fact that I can pull a pizza and put it on the mantle without worry if it’s gonna burn.

Great add on to roccbox.
