Thus was a “hit” (no pun intended or maybe there was) for Christmas for my son and his family!! The workout value-agility-coordination perfect. Easy to use . A little frustrating at first but makes you want to improve your motor skills. I’d say it was a have run. I even got one for my husband and myself…a little “friendly “ geezer competition!

The ball is a little harder than expected, so it takes time for your fists to get used to it, or maybe it's just me. I've had swollen knuckles after using for 20 minutes, and since that black circle at the bottom is hard plastic, and there will be times when your knuckles hit it dead center. I still enjoy using it and power through the slight pain, though beware that you'll feel some soreness. This could just be my weak a** hands so don't take my comment at face value.

I’m about to reorder this, I wound up beating the ball into pieces 😅 other than that I will say IT CAN HURT IF THE BALL CATCHES YOU IN THE FACE!! But I believe that’s where your reflexes and movement are elevated; since it’s hard not to get hit in a combat sport ( whether a fist or ball it won’t feel good 😅.) lasted decently despite use and work wonderfully.

Bought this on the suggestion from a friend who has something similar. I wanted to increase my hand eye coordination for my boxing crossfit workouts and ping pong ! At first it was really humbling but w some practice I got better. The product is super simple to use and pack-able for out of town trips. It does what it is supposed to do -- works on hand eye coordination. I also enjoyed watching my kids give it a try. They laughed at first and then started counting the " hits ". I also highly suggest heading over to youtube to find workouts or drills to step up your game and keep it interesting. Overall, it's a great product for what it does and the cost.

I bought a previous version, only about 2 months ago and I loved it - this simple piece of boxing apparatus transformed my gym time. After excessive use, it broke and I replaced it with a new one. The new one arrived but it was different - the reflex ball is so much lighter making it super difficult to perform the same work out. I’m considering sending it back as I just don’t think I can use this version for my work outs.

I bought Champs Boxing Reflex ball on Amazon a few months ago. I was disappointed that the rubber ball was smaller, heavier and harder than I expected. In the instruction sheet included in the box the user is warned not to hit the ball too hard or it might hit you in the face. Also the elastic cord will start to fray and break very quickly with a ball this heavy. When you see the cord start to fray, stop using it immediately because the cord will likely break very soon and it might snap back into your face or eyes. I suggest you use a softer, lighter tennis ball-size ball like the one I use for my own self-made reflex ball. I've been using my own self-made reflex ball for more than 2 years every day in the park for one hour. The ball is soft so I can strike it with my hands, elbows, knees, feet or head with full power and it won't hurt me at all. The elastic cord is long and strong enough that I can use front, back and side kicks with it. I also like to use it like a yoyo ball creating all kinds of fun challenging techniques and tricks. I suggest that you tie the elastic cord to the backstrap of a sports cap rather than use the annoying headband. The elastic cord can easily be adjusted to any length by just wrapping the cord and ball around the backstrap of the cap. I found that the Champs heavy ball would start to pull down the headband on my head when my kicks sent the ball arcing high and around my head. Also the mounted ring at the front of the headband would snap against my forehead with each ball revolution. A really good reflex ball should not hurt your hands when you hit it with full power. It should be soft and the size of a tennis ball so it is easy enough to strike it with any part of your body-with full power. The elastic cord should be long enough and strong enough and flexible so you can strike it with your hands, elbows, knees, feet and head. A really good reflex ball should give you a full-body workout while using lots of footwork as the cord and ball moves 360 degrees high and low all around you.

Good quality. Comes with an extra stretchy cord. The cord length is adjustable and the excess cord can be bunched and tucked away in the head band under a little velcro strap on the side (or you could cut it to your desired length). It tends to slip a bit through the spring clamp at the head band after repeated use, so I find i have to shorten the cord every once in a while. So far the cord has retained its elasticity but I've only used it maybe an hour or so total. The ball is pretty hard. I'm not really a big wimp, but it does make my knuckles a bit tender, so maybe try some gloves or let it build some toughness bruce lee style. Soon you will be punching block walls.

Un peu compliqué au début les gestes deviennent vite plus précis avec l'expérience de l’utilisation du produit. Une paire de gants est plutôt conseillée, c'est un bon rapport qualité prix pour un appareil d'entrainement que je recommande sans hésitation. Mon fils acquéreur avant moi m'a convaincu d'en faire l’achat et à mon tour j'ai convaincu un cousin sportif d'en faire autant.

La pelota sirve para lo que se promociona. Es rápida, tiene todos los elementos de calidad y con el respuesto necesario para el uso que se le da. Me he divertido mucho con ella y ya hasta se me rompió el elástico una vez (por el uso normal) pero se puede arreglar y seguir usando. Sin duda un pasatiempo muy entretenido y funcional para las artes marciales
