Russian Missile Set. Plastic modelling is an area of model making in which models are mainly made of plastic (today mostly polystyrene). These are usually drive-free stand models where the interest is more to a high level of detail than to robustness or function, but can also be limited. Prefabricated parts are mainly used here. More rarely, one can find kits from deep-drawn shapes (Vacu kits) and pure resin kits.
