The printing on the label is good, it seems to burn nicely and smell quite nice. The lavender scent is not overwhelming, it's a bit subtle which I like a lot... Some candles make your whole house reek, this one does not.It also seems to burn quite cleanly, it doesn't smoke a lot, or leave soot in the jar. Overall, great candle, great retirement gift!

This candle is cute and has a nice, thoughtful label. That makes it a good gift idea! The quality is pretty good, striking a decent balance between a strong yet not overpowering fragrance that quickly fills the room as soon as it's lit. The wax burns evenly and cleanly.While it might not be an everyday choice for me, I'm genuinely happy with the quality. It's a fantastic gift option, especially considering the reasonable price. Would highly recommend!

I acquired this candle because of the description of its materials that would be burned ("100% natural soy wax ... unbleached cotton wick ... clean burning" per description) as I was looking for something to burn fairly clean yet was not beeswax. I was also attracted to this product because of the sentiment / wording / phrase affixed outside the jar in which the candle is contained ("sending you a big hug"), as our household uses candles with phrasing on them to convey messages to each other.I was confused about the smell. The posted product description stated "Infused with 5% natural plant essential oils, a subtle blend of lavender and eucalyptus..." yet the bottom of the jar had a label stating "Lavender" (see image) and, yet, the candle had a "different" scent to me. I do not mind neutral or clean scents, though, due to fragrance sensitivity. However, if you are looking for a candle to produce even a mild fragrance that you can sense, then I do not believe this is the candle you're looking for -- and certainly not if you are looking to smell lavendar. While hard to describe, it came off to us as more of a "Christmas tree" or "outdoor forest with evergreens" -- perhaps more toward the "natural plant" or "eucalyptus" range of smells.The candle, overall, is simple, elegant, and classy looking so it can blend into most room decors. However, I rated it a 4 out of 5 because, based on the posted product photos, it appeared that the words were directly embossed, lasered, printed, or otherwise directly affixed on the jar itself. Yet the product I received had a transparent sticker of some type applied on the outside of the glass with the words on this adhesive surface instead of the jar.

This is a very nice candle, made of soy, has a nice message on it, smells so nice of lavender and eucalyptus, so it's a soothing fragrance...and it has a burn time of 50 hours. The size is nearly 3" in diameter, and nearly 4 inches high...so not a huge candle, but still a good size. This was a gift for our 80 year old great grandmother who just loves candles. She loves soft scents, and it is something she will keep the jar to use in another way once the candle is finished. A really great price for such a simple, but thoughtful way of saying you're sending someone special a hug. Glad I found this.

Very happy with this jar candle! It's very nice looking, with a great presentation if you wanted to give it as a gift. And the quality also makes it a gift you'd feel good about giving. The fragrance is strong but not overpowering, and the scent fills the room pretty quickly once it starts burning. The wax burns evenly and clean, with no smoking or residue. I'm really happy with this and can think of a dozen reasons to give as a gift, especially for the price. This is a quality candle and I'm happy I found it.

Although this lovely candle with a clean, delicate scent is advertised as a parting gift, I ordered it for myself and plan to use it in my home. The heartfelt message can be meaningful to almost anyone for any reason. I burn candles throughout the winter months and this item is a welcome addition. Its generous size will burn for many hours. I like it a lot and am glad I placed an order.

I chose to gift the PARDIEUR Get Well Soon Thinking of You Soy Candle to a friend for a Christmas gift excahnge. It was well received. The way I see it, everyone can use an unexpected "big hug" for any occassion and this candle is a reminder of that. This candle is a little on the expensive side. It does smell good (lavender scented)!
