I've been using this knife almost daily for about 5 months now, and I have to say that I'm really impressed. Sure, it doesn't hold an edge or perform as well as the Cutco 1728 chef knife I've had for years, but it cost 95% less! It was very sharp out of the box and I've kept it that way by giving it a quick touch-up sharpening about once a month. The included sheath is also a great addition. If you're just using this knife at home and aren't a professional chef, you really can't go wrong by buying it.

Great knife for the last 8 months! However I recently noticed it has some rust spots, which is a bummer. Always hand washed it and dried it so not sure what happened.

I was staying at a temporary residence and all my kitchen items were in storage. Needed an inexpensive knife for a couple months and have really been impressed by this knife. Works great and gets very sharp, I find myself using it all the time.
