I have been using this balm on rough patches of skin on my knees and one of my hands, have found it to be easily absorbed and non-greasy, and there is a noticeable improvement in my skin.I also like that there is no discernible scent so it does not clash when I am wearing perfume and am happy to recommend.

This repair balm is in a cute an convenient metal case that can be easily recycled once empty. The balm is solid and only really works if you have very warm hands to melt it into a balm other wise it doesn't rub in at all. I wash my hands in hot water before using it to make sure they are warm enough. It works well on dry skin if you can warm it enough to beco.e a soft balm, however it's not the easiest to use, hence the 4☆

This balm did help to repair dry and flaky skin and has a less greasy feel than similar solid balms. It comes in a nice quality 50ml screw top metal container. It has around 20 natural ingredients and a long shelf life (around 2 years for the batch I received). The description says that it is not tested on animals but this is not stated on the product itself. The only downside is that it's solidity and texture make it difficult to use. The usage instructions say 'warm between palms and massage gently into skin' but even after rubbing for some time between the palms, it is still difficult to remove it's slightly lumpy, almost gritty texture.
