S380 Bike Helmet Cycle Helmet

Good product.

Easy to adjust and adjusts well, right down to my small sized head. I take a S in motorcycle helmet and this fits fine on it's smallest setting. Easy to adjust straps, like the way you can adjust them so they sit properly around your ears. Nice bright paint finish, the girls at worked laughed at how bright it looks, but agreed safety-wise, it's perfect, nice and visible. I never wanted to have to wear a cycle helmet, but now I commute to work on mine bike I had no choice, but this feels and looks like a good quality item. Only had it a couple of weeks. If anything changes i will update this review. UPDATE So after a year and a half the pads inside started to come away - and the chin strap cover, the velcro packed up - not really that tough I suppose for everyday wear. You can buy replacement pads but they are £10 and this helmet has been reduced from £30 to £20, so I bought a new helmet, almost 2 years of wearing it every day, I don't feel that is bad value.

The proof of a good helmet is a safe and sound head after a crash. Luckily, I can't attest to that aspect of the helmet. Amazon offer it at a good price, somewhat cheaper than on the manufacturer's website. Interestingly, although C Originals is not one of the better known names, they have been making helmets for other names for quite some years and it's relatively recently that they release under an own brand name. The helmet has a hard shell which seems to be seamlessly bonded to the foam body. with padded inserts within the helmet - they re fastened with velcro, but there isn't much scope for adjusting their position. A tension wheel at the back ensure a snug fit to the head, front and back, whilst the adjustable side and chin strap secure the helmet. Theres a little padded wrap on the chin strap to hide the dangling ends. It's well ventilated with 14 slots, and as a nice touch,, there is an insect net inside the front vents, to stop little beasts getting a lift and on your nerves. Mine is a bright greenish yellow - hi-viz, with 2 reflective patches on the back. The helmet comes with a clip-on or off visor. It feels quite comfortable and safe to wear. Perhaps not the raciest looking, but it'll get you to work or around town in one piece.

Helmet comfortable with good adjustment, I prefer the plain black personally as I wear a reflective strip on clothing while cycling. It is much lighter in weight than my very old safety helmet and I am pleased with the design and comfort.

A great helmet that fits just as expected. It feels safe and secure, and has straps which adjust in all the right places. The mint green is a little brighter than the picture, but still a lovely colour. Wore it out on my bike for the first time today: it stayed put brilliantly, was very comfortable, didn't have to do any readjustments and I forgot I was wearing it to be honest.

I replaced an old helmet that had a few cracks in its outer shell (mostly through dropping) and was surprised by the construction quality of this helmet. As it's made with it out shell fused during the moulding process, it fells solid with nice clean edges. It's surprisingly light compared to other models but still feels adequately strong and up to the job. The styling and fit is 'spot on'. This is by FAR the best helmet I've bought at this price and I've had many over the years. Ventilation is exceptional and a couple of hi-viz stickers is a worthwhile addition. I honestly can't recommend this enough. It really is that good.

It's a bike helmet, it fits well, easy to adjust, looks good. Could have been a bit cheaper but hey! I bought a black one but my son pinched it so I had to buy another in this yellow as I didn't want the same colour as him. Some helmets make you look stupid, like a mushroom on your head (ALDI - I had one- chucked it), this doesn't, it looks cool I guess. Pity about the fat old bloke wearing it!

Good value fits perfect and very light doesn’t give you helmet hair either which is great. I’ve only had it for a month but the brand sticker has come off which is fine just makes it look very old.
