Depeding on the landscape it will get scratched (asphalt or stones). They are plastic/rubber made.

Q: Will the wheels scratch the wood floors?

No. We have wood floors and the wheels are fine on it. My daughter who turned 1 loves it.

Q: Can it be disassembled after assembling?

Yes, very easily. It's put together with push button spring clips -- which are those little silver buttons you see on tray table legs (for example) -- which makes the legs adjustable so you can raise or lower the tray table. I'm talking about tray tables with legs made from thin round pipes. Imagine two pipes, one that slides into another. There will be several aligned holes in the pipes and a small silver button that sticks up from the holes on both sides of the main pipe. The legs of the table -- the pipes -- click into place when you insert the smaller pipe inside the larger one. To adjust the height of the table you simply press the silver buttons in and raise or lower the pipes to adjust the height. This little horse's "pipes" work on the same principle. To assemble or disassemble you simply press in the little silver buttons on the pipe like pieces and slide the other pieces on or off. Super simple to do, but hard to explain!
