EVERY SO OFTEN A PRODUCT IS PERFECT!
This is one of those perfect products. I found myself looking for a sixth star to rate every aspect of this stand. LEG ROOM: I have this stand adjusted to its widest (and one notch from lowest) setting to accommodate my Casio WK-6600 keyboard for "seated" playing and there is enough leg room to sit side-by-side with another person with plenty of room for both peoples' legs. You can also raise it up to accommodate standing while you play. EASY TO ASSEMBLE: I always keep an eye on the instructions when I am assembling something, but I really didn't need to here. It's nearly fully assembled as it arrives. Small parts (and there aren't many) come separated into sealed, labeled compartments of a clear plastic bag for easy identification and NO tools are required. There IS a small, included, stamped wrench to tighten the wheels but if you apply the wheel locks before installing, you can twist them into place without the wrench. (I did use the wrench for a final "snug" once the wheels were installed but realize I didn't really need to.) All screws have large, plastic heads for easy hand tightening. Assembly was a breeze! STURDINESS: This thing is built like an army truck and is clearly way stronger than it needs to be to handle ANY keyboard I have ever encountered. Welded seams are complete and smooth... even attractive. I did not sense the slightest degree of wobble or rattle... even when rolling it around on my carpet. The wheels turn smoothly and the wheel locks are both strong and easy to engage and release. SECURITY STRAPS: I have never been a big fan of the "strap" mounting technique for keyboards, but the whole industry seems to use it for its universality. Every brand and model of keyboard is designed a little differently on its bottom so they have to use a method of mounting that can be used with all of them... so I guess the straps make sense. (I really think the keyboard industry should work on a standardized mounting lug configuration so they all attach securely and in the same way.... but this is not "Liquid Stand's" fault.) Given the vast array of keyboard designs they set out to accommodate, the straps seem to work well and they are very strong. Also, the included, peel & stick, non-skid pads (that are easily affixed to the top rails of the stand) do an excellent job of holding the keyboard in place. Even if there were no straps, you'd have to bump the keyboard VERY hard to knock it off the stand. SIZE ADJUSTMENTS: Both width and height can be adjusted in seconds. There is a spring-loaded knob for each adjustment that just needs to be twisted loose (counterclockwise) a single turn... and then pulled away from the frame to allow the square telescoping tubes of the frame to be pulled further apart or pushed closer together. There are drilled holes in the inner square tube that the stem of the knob snaps back into to lock it into place. Once the proper adjustment is achieved, a quick clockwise turn of the knobs snugs everything back up so there is no rattle or wobble in the stand. HEADPHONES HOOK: It can be mounted to the left or the right (or removed entirely) and attaches with a single plastic-head hand screw. Again... no tools required. (Note: If you choose not to use the hook but don't want to lose it, you can mount it backward and it tucks away neatly under the keyboard to store it.) OTHER POINTS: - In addition to the wheels, leveling screw-in feet are included as an option for anyone who does not plan to roll the stand and prefers to keep it stationary. I don't really plan to move my keyboard much but I chose the wheels because they lock so securely... yet I maintain the option of unlocking them if I ever do need to move it. With the wheels installed, I put the included feet in a small zip-lock bag (along with the stamped wrench) and zip-tied the bag up underneath the keyboard where they are out of sight but stored for future use, if ever needed. - This unit is so strong and rolls so smoothly, I am seriously considering purchasing another to mount a work surface on to create a strong, rolling work table. With a creative mind, this stand could be retrofitted to a myriad of things from tools like an electric miter saw or drill press to other electronic devices like amplifiers or heavy computer printers. PRICE: I almost bought a cheaper imitation but I would have only saved about $20 and I am so glad I decided on this "Liquid Stands" model. It's worth twice its price, easily, in my opinion. If you keep an eye open, you may find this stand on sale that could save you a little money. I have seen a sale price for this on Amazon appear twice in the last three days. As of the writing of this review, the Amazon regular price is $72.00 but I bought mine on a one-day sale for $66.25... not a huge savings but it got me almost $6.00 closer in price to the cheaper imitation I almost bought. SUMMARY: As I said at the outset... This stand is quite simply "perfect." I have bought hundreds of items on Amazon ranging from "junk" to outstanding products but this stand is, by far, the most impressive of them all. So, if you're thinking about ordering this item... stop thinking and just order it. You won't be disappointed. Besides, if for some reason you didn't like it, you could always return it for a full refund but I think that is VERY unlikely. WARNING: Don't be swayed by those who gave this one star and a bad review. I think they are posted by people with interests in competing stands or who have some other agenda. The comments they expressed don't even remotely describe issues that are possible with this stand. Trust what is being said by the vast majority of those commenting... that it's 5-stars in every regard and impressively designed and manufactured.

Excellent quality keyboard stand
This is my second Liquid Stands keyboard stand. The product is of excellent quality and design, strong, easy to assemble, to raise and lower and to move. I also use of of them as the base for a portable drawing table.

High Quality and Ease of Assembly
Dear Mike, I purchased one of your Liquid Stands Z style keyboard stands, model MS1080, and a matching stool because I didn't like the looks of the suggested side stands for the Yamaha DGX-670 keyboard I had purchased. I was a little disappointed. Not with the stand and seat, but that I didn't find a single thing to complain about. Everything went together perfectly, bolts and holes mated up perfectly, and holes were reinforced when threaded. There were no missing parts, which in my experience with Chinese manufacturers, usually happens. Actually, there were two lock-washers left over, which is good, because I usually drop small things into my carpet and the carpet eats them. It even had solid feet as well as locking type wheels, which gives one a choice; I chose the wheels because it rests on carpeting. The stand is very sturdy and stable, well engineered, looks much nicer than the side panel stands would have, moves easier, and both the seat and keyboard height adjust easily. I am quite pleased, and I would recommend your Liquid Stands to anyone. I don't often write in about things like this, but the quality of workmanship deserves special notice. Thank you for a great product.

Get this now!
This keyboard stand is amazing. The price is not only great but the quality and functionality is even better! Extremely sturdy and it works better than expected for my ol 88 key Yamaha Motif XS8 with no problems especially with the wheels. It’s a 63lb keyboard but it feels like air when moving it around when needed and the wheels easily lock and unlock for making adjustments. The height adjustment functions extremely well and easy also. The keyboard stand is really diverse. Depending on the size keyboard you have you could even have it under a desk, which is really cool also because of its ability to adjust its height and width. This is definitely one of my favorite purchases for my home studio.

High Quality Stand - Love the Wheels
The Keyboard Stand with Wheels is a fantastic product. Very well made, easy to assemble, sturdy and... it makes moving a keyboard around the studio so much easier. A real find, in my opinion. I had a small problem with the foam pads that apply on the stand arms to protect the keyboard and customer service response was great.

Absolutely great quality and stability at a great price
I'm amazed at how good this stand is. It is extremely well-built and provides rock solid stability for my 30 pound digital piano. The width and height are highly adjustable, and the adjustments are easy to make. I almost bought a very expensive ($350) stand because I'm tired of flimsy, wobbly stands, and I was doubtful that a stand at this price could be very good. But I decided to give this one from Liquid Stands a try, and I'm so glad I did. I could not be more impressed with it. A huge thumbs up from me. One more thing. I was worried that my shins might hit the crossbar that connects the two vertical pieces together. Well, that is not a problem at all. When I'm seated at the piano with my foot on the sustain pedal, the crossbar is almost 12" away from my shin. I'm often underwhelmed by products whose advertising over-promises and under-delivers. This stand is NOT one of those. It is every bit as good as the advertising says . . . and maybe even better. I don't leave glowing reviews unless a product really, really impresses me, but this is one of those great products that needs to be commended.

Very sturdy with easy (almost) tool less assembly
This stand is very sturdy and was so easy to assemble. Total time to unbox and assemble (without even looking at the instructions) was less than 5 minutes. I paid $5 extra for the model with wheels because space is limited and I will have to roll this out when my daughter wants to play her piano and roll it back to a storage area when she's done. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it came with both the the wheels and the feet. If I ever decide to remove the wheels and put on feet for a more permanent placement I already have the feet. Assembly was all hand and thumb screws so no tools are required, with the exception of screwing the wheels into the stand. You can easily screw them in by hand but you should use a wrench to torque them down. Thankfully it came with a wrench included. Granted it's a cheap use it once and throw it away wrench but it is sufficient for the task at hand to just tighten down the four wheel bolts. So I didn't have to walk out to the garage to get a wrench. Once assembled the stand is very sturdy and rolls easily without feeling unstable. The wheel locks are easy to engage and release, and they lock well enough to hold it in place and not move around when playing it. The height is easily adjustable to accommodate a range of height differences as well as the ability to adjust it for playing seated or standing. The width is easily adjustable as well to accommodate a range of keyboard sizes. My daughter has a full 88 key piano so it has to be at it's widest setting but it fits well. From what I can tell at it's narrowest adjustment it would be just about perfect for a 61 key keyboard. My one small complaint with this stand is the securing straps and thumb screws for attaching them. Not that there is anything wrong with them, other than the fact that it only comes with two straps and thumb screws. My daughter's Yamaha piano has four anchor points on the bottom. The straps screw right in and seem sufficient for holding the piano if there were more than two. Because of the placement of the anchor points on the stand (centered) and relative position of the anchor points on the piano (near the corners) you can't really secure it in a way that feels like it couldn't be knocked off with only two straps, you would need at least three and preferably four. I would give this product 5 stars if it came with four straps or at least if they provided a way to order more. There are no replacement part numbers on the instruction sheet nor is there any company contact information. So if one of the straps break or if you just want to order more like I do, you can't. You will have to make your own strap from an old belt or something like that and go to the hardware store and find the right thumb screws. Give me two more straps and thumb screws or provide me with a means to purchase them and you will have a 5 star review Plixio.

Thick steel, adjustable. Looks great and assembly a breeze.
If you’re buying a stand for your music equipment, I’m not really sure why you’d buy anything else. Solid and goes together in minutes. It extends either horizontally or vertically, hold tons of different types of equipment, comes with straps. Nice thick steel great stuff.

Great Build Quality with a nice and reasonable price
I love it. It feels nice and sturdy, with wheels at the bottom to move it around the house easily. There's a locking mechanism on the wheels too. The only downside is that it is not really foldable and portable. Once it is assembled, it stays standing. This keyboard stand is also not suitable for those who like to adjust the height of their keyboard frequently. You'll have to take off your heavy keyboard, adjust the height, and then put your keyboard back on it. I would've gladly paid twice the price for that feature. But at this price, it's definitely good enough.

High quality keyboard stand
This is a high quality, presicion engineered keyboard stand at a reasonable price. It came with easy to follow instructions. The casters are smooth and are lockable. The only minor issue I have is the supplied keyboard lock bolts don't fit my Korg Piano but that is a minor issue as I can get alternative bolts. It's very sturdy, easily adjustable and the knobs for adjusting are spring loaded to allow you to easily find the holes for re-positioning. As another reviewer mentioned the welding of the joints is first class. I am thrilled with this stand and would give it 6 stars if I could.
