Filter parts faulty & difficult to speak to anyone about it
The tubes that should interconnect to put the filter together are sized incorrectly so cannot put it together to have filter operating at all. Tried to contact seller to just send replacement filter as rest of tank ok but just refers you to chat facility where options are limited so can’t do anything about the dodgy filter unless want to return whole tank. The place for the filter is built into the hood so even though I will have to buy alternative filter to be able to use this tank the room where a working filter should be will still be taken up. Very disappointing, definitely wouldn’t recommend

Hard one to call, lots of problems but decent tank
Likes;Nice tank, as described, solid lid is definitely keeping the cats out which was the point.Price is about right given the size, light, pump, solid lid etcCons;Main issue - plug for the light is not a standard size so wobbles and falls out of the plug. Thought the wire had a kink in it or something because when I moved it the tank light flickered or went off but managed to track it to the plug not fitting correctly (see video). Can see the burn on the live pin in one of the images from improper contact. It's not dangerous in any way but is annoying. Had to replace that. Worrying given these are a standard size. Doesn't inspire much confidence to be honest. On the note of electrical safety, would prefer the conversion from 240v to LED voltages (5v would be fine) to have been done externally, maybe a USB wall plug...but instead we're running 240v into a light we're hoping is better waterproofed than the plug it's attached to was measured up... I don't know...I've ordered a different one.Pump has no spec sheet so I don't know if it's submersible so playing it safe.Assembly for pump is not obvious but can be found in the images on the listing.Filter is...odd. Seems to be collecting muck ok but added the old one back in for good measure.Hinge for lid arrived with a broken bit off the right pin so isn't fully secured in.Opening at the top is not secured either so falls off when you open the lid.All in all seems like a return job but would take as long to fill out the form, post the thing or hang about for a courier etc as it would to sort it out so it's sorted but can't recommend it.Buyer beware. All in all though, not great, not utterly useless.

Watch the video first!!!
Where do I start? I fancied a small fish tank and have never kept fish before so I didn't want to spend a fortune! Price wise it was good but it helps if you know what to expect! Firstly pins for lid were broken so mines just purched on which is fine as it's not essential it's fixed in place. Most importantly watch the video first for instructions on how to assemble the pump ...I did it as I was watching only to realize you more or less had to disassemble to put it in the tank! The other thing which I had to hazard a guess at was the clear tube... It does just fit over the pump and dangle out the back (thankfully I spotted it on some other reviews!). Then next thing is I would probably invest in a new light (not sure I fancy plugging athe world's most smallest 3 pin plug in). Now I'm ready to go (just awaiting my live plants then onto some fish!). It is a nice compact design and can't wait to see it fully operational.

Broke straight away
The quality of the product was fine, given the price point, definitely glass and the video instruction was useful with how to put it together, however, once it was all assembled and the substrate/gravel was put in I with the water, I turned the pump on, and the pump got clogged and broke straight away. I would definitely advise not to buy this product if you plan on having any substrate or gravel or sand in the tank because the pump is clearly not designed for this. It’s a shame because this was not mentioned on the product listing. Everything else was fine, definitely a good first fish tank or a tank for kids in mind.

Product not as described and no instructions.
Not happy with the purchase at all. Took 1 hour to set up the filter system as there was no instructions or manual of any type given; had to use the picture online to put it together. The filter works very weak and the water doesnt fall like in the photo, it is nothing like the product picture online. The material is said to be glass even though it clearly doesn’t feel like it, it is very obviously acrylic/plastic. I sent a message to the seller and they still say it is glass though it isn’t. Customer service replied fast but wasn’t helpful at all. Would not recommend this product.
