Oregon Serrated 4mm Strimmer Line Heavy Duty, 4.0mm x 21m

I was totally fed up with the cheaper brands not fit for the job. This line is awesome. Feeds and lasts longer. Definitely recommend and fit for purpose. It slices through normal to long grass with a petrol bush cutter

This 4mm serrated line does exactly what it is supposed to do. Cuts through thick grass and scrub easily taking out suckers and saplings up to 8mm. Anything larger it may break off but that's how it works. It is however dangerous if not used properly. Used with a 50cc strimmer it can flick up large stones, dirt and grit so eye /head protection is a must and beware if using near windows. Equally it will do considerable damage to legs and feet if they get in the way so protective boots should be worn eg chainsaw boots.

Does the job

You have to have the correct holder for this strimmer cord and it doesn’t work without that fitted but it is very good for heavy cutting of nettles brambles and similar.

Very strong cord for tough jobs like brambles and rough grass fully recommended.

Very very stiff and inflexible so difficult to thread into strimmer head. Warming up with hair dryer or not water may help next time I the it. That unfortunately will be very soon as the cord broke after about 20 minutes use clearing the edge of paths. To be fair I don't know what the cord hit as I was not present. A disappointing start as I had high expectations of his poduct.

been using this on very heavy brambles as health and safety will not let use you metal discs or anything metal. last at least 50% longer than normal cord and we are abusing it all day.but you do have to put less on as will get jammed. awsome product

Unless, brittle. Snaps very easily. Bought this to tackle brambles with my Cobra wheeled strimmer. Even after soaking not fit for purpose.

Väldigt stark, enda är att den är väldigt känslig mot stenar och stubbar, så en poäng avdrag, men har du koll på din mark, så är den väldigt stryktålig och drar igenom tjock vegetation utan problem, börja högre upp och jobba neråt får man skärkraft av sitt like.

Ik heb oregon flexiblade 4mm besteld. Ik heb het ontvangen en er staat 4 mm op de verpakking alleen de diameter van het draad is veel dikker 6 of 7 mm. Natuurlijk kun je geen vragen stellen. Alleen zo'n z domme robot die niet begrijpt wat ik bedoel.
