If you were, you'd have been on knife forums researching all this.These knives are made of the same steel that most of these knife sets in this price range are made of. The differences in sets will mostly be geometric or subjective differences from one to the other.The handle of my Chef's knife formed a crack between the rivet/pin and the bottom of the white polymer part of the handle. This occurred near the end of the first month of ownership. I don't wash my knives in the dishwasher and it had not been dropped.I sent an email to Cangshan via the hello@ email address provided on their website, with a pic of the handle. I received a reply the next morning that they were shipping me a new Chef's knife.I took delivery of it today.Not sure why the handle cracked but very happy with the customer service on the product here. They were quick to respond and it was evident that they have a solid process to correct any issues with their product.I am a Vine reviewer but I bought these knives from Amazon at the typical posted Amazon price. The set was not provided to me for free, I only received a Chef's knife for free when I advised them that one of mine had a problem.I have not been asked by Cangshan nor given any incentive to write a review here.
