This little radio works very well. Reception is good and it recharges well when left in a bright spot.

Small enough to carry anywhere. Volume can be adjusted to a very loud setting (considering it is such a small device). Feels sturdy, well made. It did charge my iphone when the radio was crank charged. The sun charger does not seem to work or needs to be exposed to the sun for a very long time in order to charge. I would not leave the radio exposed to the sun for long periods, it might mess up the radio.

Living in Memphis, TN we have more than our share of severe storms and power outages. Am so glad to find this product. I have charged it and set it on the local NOAA weather channel which comes in very clear. I also got a second one to give as a gift.

I am camping right now and the solar is not charging my phone. I hand crank it and it seems to hold the charge but not charge it. I tried the laptop same problem. Now I have tried 3 different cables and one just chimes non stop but is sucking the battery dry quicker. I bought one for my daughter for her 1st car. I am not at all re-assured. I just gave her a burden gift.. that gift that fails and beomes a hastle. The radio sucks but i knew it would so no. Flashlight is working on the solar charge so that is all Its good for a expensive crap flashlight. Great. Its a crapy p.o.s. don't waste time and money on it.
