SHENMZ 4614mAh GMSB3 Battery for Google Pixel 6 with Repair Tool Kits

AMAZING! These were the perfect tools to replace the battery in my Pixel 6. I did have to buy a separate adhesive to glue my screen back on, so that's the only thing missing from this kit (thank you previous reviewer for that info!). I followed steps online from IFixit and used this kit. The new battery is strong, fits well and I have had no problems since the installation. Thankful for a reasonable solution to awful swollen battery.

This tool kit is great value for self-replacing Google Pixel 6 spicy pillows. It was pretty easy to use the provided tools to pry open and replace the battery. Would recommend.

I purchased the SHENMZ 4614mAh replacement battery for my Google Pixel 6, hoping to squeeze a couple more years out of my phone, and so far it seems to work exactly as expected. The included tool kit was surprisingly useful, most of the pieces made the job easier, but the suction cup is too small to be effective, so plan on using your own if you have one. One drawback: the kit includes two small items in a pink plastic card with no explanation at all. Some basic guidance would’ve gone a long way, especially for anyone doing this kind of repair for the first time. One important thing to note: the kit does not include the adhesive tape needed to reseal the phone, so you’ll need to purchase that separately. As for the battery itself, it was installed cleanly and is performing well so far. It charges without any issues, whether plugged in or using wireless charging. Of course, only time will tell how long it truly lasts, but at this price point, it felt absolutely worth doing the replacement rather than buying a new phone. If it gives me even a couple more years of life, it’s a win. Overall, a good value with a few minor shortcomings.

Looks good so far, had a weird startup as it shows a battery with a question mark. But turns on and has gone through 3 cycles. Lasts way longer than my previous battery that kept draining and dying at 40 to 20% of battery power. Will the edit this post to see if anything happens down the line. Just happy to havey Pixel 6 working again for just 15 bucks.

No instructions, wrong screwdriver, battery didn't work; wouldn't charge, would immediately power down due to low-battery. Replaced with battery from a different source just fine.

Installation wasn't that hard, I've worked on more difficult things, but it's not for beginners either. There are no instructions, but I think if you're ordering this sort of part you should also have the skills to research the installation. Getting the adhesive off was the hardest part. The tools provided were sufficient and I didn't need anything else. There are more advanced and ideal tools, but these were good enough. Battery life appears to be as stated, 4614 mAh which is the same as the stock battery. Performance and discharge rate seems to be identical to a stock battery.

I was hesitant at the beginning because I'm not good at repairing electronics. However, I gave it a try but I was ready to purchase a new phone if this didn't work. Fortunately, it did. I watched a few YouTube videos and went for it. That was about two weeks ago and the phone's been charging fast and keeping the charge the whole day. I'm a satisfied customer 🙂

As an IT tech who works on these types of devices, this was a decent kit however missing a few things. The battery is good. Original spec. Don't upgrade to a larger battery like a lot of the other kits on Amazon. It's all marketing BS. Stay with the original size for your phone they have better tolerances and will likely last longer. So far after a week the battery is working well after several cycles. It has a very even charge and discharge curve. I will update again in the future if anything changes. Note: you will want a pair of micro tweezers that will definitely come in handy, and also need adhesive for resealing the screen back to the body of the phone. This kit does not come with it.
