Terramar Men's Thermolator Climasense 4-Way Stretch Brushed Crew Neck Top

This is a great base layer for outdoor activities, such as skiing

I neede base layers for my 13 y.o. who usually wears Medium (5'8", 140lb). We purchased Small from Terramar and fit is perfect. I recommend buying 1 size smaller or buy in 2 different sizes, since returns are free to see what works for you best!I purchased both top and bottom from 2 different companies:TOP- this one "Terramar"  Terramar Men's Thermolator II Crew,Black,Small - Coldpruf  Coldpruf Men Platinum Long Sleeve Crew (Medium, Heather Grey) BOTTOM- this one "Terramar"  Terramar Men's Thermolator II Pant,Black,Small - Coldpruf  ColdPruf Men's Platinum Dual Layer Bottom, Black, Medium My son prefered both pieces Terramar. Why?- Coldpruf was not only big (so take 1 size down as it's a bottom layer), but very bulky. The fit is not to your body, but more like a top layer shirts.- Not stretchy enough- Coldpruf is Itchy, while Terramar is soft. My son has always been sensitive to what he wears and if material is "itchy" to him - he would never wear it. He started shouting after 1 minute - "take it off, too itchy". I felt it with my hands and fabric does feel very artificial and scratchy, compare to Terramar which feels very soft. In fact I can't make him take it off and he is wearing now in house.. LolReturning Coldpruf, and staying with Terramar.Will update after the skiing!

Just returned from 3 day trip to Okemo. Wore this on day one with a temp around 18 with no wind. Wore a heavier layer on day two and three as it was much colder. Worked as it should with a mid-layer and shell. I sweat a lot when skiing and this wicked away the moisture and kept me dry so that the mid-layer could keep me warm. Was very comfortable, with no itching or spots that rubbed. Would purchase from Terramar again.

Given the picture, I was a little skeptical about how much I would like this base layer. In the pic, the sleeves look very bloused and loose around the wrists and hands. The shirt that arrived was incredibly comfortable (no itchy back seams as previously mentioned by another reviewer), the wrists fit much more snug than the picture appears, and the seams on the black color were sewn in a darker, less contrasting color which I appreciate. All in all, it feels great and looks pretty sharp. I could see myself wearing this as a long sleeve t-shirt in warmer weather because it looks good and is cheaper than most regular, non technical t's. Super satisfied.Also, others have mentioned the fit being tight. I found that the medium is form fitted but doesn't utilize the stretch of the spandex (not stretched over my body). I'm 5'9''/145 and the medium fits great. I'm back to order more.

I purchased this thermal shirt for my husband as a layering piece under his winter biking jacket. He needed a thermal shirt with thumbholes to project his hand from the wind and coldness, he does wear gloves but he doesn't like the longer ones that go up his forearm as they compromise his hand/arm dexterity. The overall length of this shirt is perfect, he is 5'11" and 130 pounds. I bought a small size and it fits him perfectly.

these truly are the best thermals i've ever owned. First pair i bought 10 years ago still in perfect shape. Bought this pair as a backup for ski weekends and is nearly identical. seems to be same great quality with an even better fitting forearm. I really like thumb hole sleeves on thermals. these are great.

I was looking for a thermal shirt for late winter and early spring outdoor workouts. The prices were outrageous. I found this and gave it a shot. I am very impressed with the quality and comfort. It keeps me worm on runs and is a great underlayer for colder bike rides. I prefer this thermal over the big name brand that cost three times as much.
