Easy to use and soft
Great yarn. I am a crochet beginner and this yarn was so easy to use. It does not break easily, the color is very pretty, and perfect softness for a baby. I crocheted a rattle with this and feel comfortable having my newborn rubbing this against their face.

Great quality
Did not buy it to use for knitting but the quality does appear to be really good. We actually bought it to make a laser maze for our son which was quite fun too

Nice cotton acrylic blend yarn with oeko-tex certification
You get a nicely sized ball of yarn (3.5oz 360yd). The color of the yarn was true to the pictures in the listing. You can feel the cotton in this yarn blend, which I do like as it feels like it would be good for sturdier projects--perhaps a market bag or something like that. The yarn is mostly soft, but not so soft that it isn't sturdy feeling. It is not scratchy at all and I could see it being used to make something that would be worn against the skin. It is listed as a #2 fine weight yarn, but it feels on the thicker side of fine--not quite sport weight, but still thicker than the other #2 fine weight yarns I have in my own stash. The yarn is made up of 4 plys which split VERY easily for me when working with it. I'm not the hugest fan of that type of yarn as it can slow me down. However, that seems to be the only downfall I see with this yarn.

Soft denim-colored small diameter yarn for weaving, crochet, etc.
This yarn is a good quality and it is soft and delicate. It's a nice muted color that blends in with natural tones and looks good with whites and off-whites. I used this for weaving on a loom and it was soft and easy to work with. It is small enough that it could be used for jewelry like a woven bracelet. This would be a good gift for a knitter, weaver, teacher, or anyone interested in textile arts.

Small gauge cotton yarn
In general, this is nice, high-quality cotton yarn. I like cotton yarn because it can be used for items that require absorbency, like towels or washcloths. However, the small gauge of this yarn makes it more challenging to work with. The stitches are tiny, requiring many stitches to make an inch.I personally would not use this as baby yarn. In general, I don't like to make gifts for babies that are very absorbent. It makes it difficult for caregivers to tell when something is wet. But that is my personal philosophy.
