Best nail clippers i ever had, very strong and sharp

Brilliant clippers. They have a luxuriously contoured and robust metal body. The smooth painted metal finish feels warm to the touch as opposed to the cold to the touch stainless steel finishes that you usually find on clippers. The cutting edge itself is very sharp shown by the fact I barely needed to apply any pressure for it to cut through my nail compared to usual clippers. The nail file is a nice touch for brief buffing a snag but it's slow to file and awkward to angle compared to a separate one so probably not for doing the whole filing job. I never thought I could enjoy cutting my nails but I actually do with these, you feel a bit pampered as you use them. It came in a very nice metal presentation box but like others have said it did have some dents in it. I bought the 'big one' and due to the high quality dense metal it is pretty heavy. You also have to open your hand up very wide to grip the two handles as they are very far apart when fully spread. Because of this I'm not sure it would be very enjoyable to use for someone who is very elderly or frail, so just a warning about its potential suitability for others. For me though the extra weight feels sturdy and sort of satisfying. Overall they bring a touch of luxury to a tool that rarely if ever exudes it.

I bought the large & small pack which came in a nice tin. Very impressive design and cut through my nails like a hot knife through butter. As the description says, the gap between the blade jaws is a little too small to allow very thick toenails to fit between them. I did speak to the manufacturer, Mr. Green, who were very helpful and pointed me at their alternative product with a wider jaw for really thick nails. I'm going to stick with this set as the small one alone was £15.59 and the set of two £22.99 - so effectively only £7.50 for the large one which is good for my thumbs. Certainly the best Nail Clippers I've ever had and require very little pressure to achieve a clean cut. Particularly helpful if, like me, you're a bit arthritic so not a strong as you used to be.

These nail clippers are well made, good quality and clip the thickest of toe nails with ease. Much sharper than the the ones I've bought from the supermarket. There is also a handy chamber behind the blades that catches the clippings. Beware though one or two still fly in the opposite direction and the best way to make this feature work efficiently is to position the clippers with the chamber pointing down to the floor. Best and sharpest nail clippers I've ever bought, worth the money and would recommend.

These are of such excellent quality (an increasingly rare quality, especially for things affordable to the average person). They have a reassuring weight to them - not flimsy - and the cut is very precise and clean. They are extremely easy to use, with hardly any pressure required. The unexpected bonus? My fingernails have been weak and brittle my whole life (I'm 54), but since using these babies, I find I'm trimming them because they've reached a certain length and NOT - for once - because they've broken or are flaking. I'm absolutely delighted with my purchase. Buy them!

I've been buying these for years now, and never had one break or dull. The file is good and easy to clean after use. The only reason I keep buying more is because I have a knack of losing them!

Buonasera, sono un cliente Prime e sono qui a dare la mia testimonianza riguardo l'acquisto di questo set di tagliaunghie della MR.GREEN. Sinceramente ero un po' scettico al momento dell'acquisto, per il costo non propriamente economico rispetto ad altri... anche perché a me serviva solamente un tagliaunghie (il piccolo di questo set). Però, poi, optai per la coppia proprio per l'eleganza del set... e per il lavoro che c'è stato degli ingegneri della MR.GREEN a monte, minuziosamente documentato su questa pagina dal venditore tramite testi, foto e video. Il design è futuristico ed accattivante, i materiali si presentano solidi e resistenti nel tempo. Infatti, ad oggi, sono ben 3 mesi e mezzo che ho il set ed è praticamente funzionale (nel taglio) come il primo giorno. Vediamo le cose più importanti che deve fare un tagliaunghie... ...cioè tagliare le unghie... e questo set lo fa egregiamente come non hanno mai fatto quelli avuti nel corso della mia vita. Ogni taglio è deciso e preciso oltre a non rendere le unghie spigolose (che graffiano, subito dopo l'utilizzo). Non so a cosa sia dovuta quest'accortezza, probabilmente all'inclinazione delle lame ed alla loro estrema affilatura. Di fatto vedrei benissimo questo set a casa di ogni famiglia, perché proprio adatto a tutti (logicamente i minori dovranno essere seguiti dai genitori)... e con il facile meccanismo di chiusura a cassettino, i frammenti di unghia tagliati non schizzano ovunque, ma stanno nel comodo contenitore intero. Svuotare il contenitore interno dai frammenti di unghie è facile... basta scarrellare facilmente la copertura laterale del tagliaunghie (ponendolo verso il basso), un leggero colpettino posteriore ed il gioco è fatto. Manca la classica asticella a coltellino, ma con il tempo ci si abitua e non è una mancanza rilevante... invece il lima unghie (posto sulla parte interiore del manico) è molto ma molto prestante e lima che è una meraviglia. E' costituita da una serie di micro cuspidi a maglia (se così si scrive) molto fitta e quasi invisibile ad occhio, ma rilevabile a contatto con il polpastrello. Ho aggiunto qualche foto, in modo da farteli vedere meglio, visto che magari stai leggendo queste parole perché (come me in passato) non sai se acquistare proprio questo set... ...posso scriverti che ti arriverà in un elegante cofanetto in lamiera... una sorta di confezione regalo. E' talmente bella la scatolina metallica che alla fine anche io l'ho tenuta. Se questa recensione è stata utile, ti prego di supportarmi mettendo un like.
