As a longtime sonic fan, this figure is a great pick for Shadow fans! The sculpt and paint job are what you'd expect from a prime figure, little flaws if you look at it all day (like me at my desk), but nothing that makes it a dealbreaker. I'm sure if someone knows their way about figure painting it would be a super easy fix. You can really tell jakk's quality control on this figure was above the others. I have Sonic Prime's grim figure (Sonic with the purple shoes) and I noticed compared to other figures, Shadow's joints were tighter - but to the figure's benefit! It definitely feels solid enough to be a toy played with and won't break, but is also a great collection piece. He easily stands on his own with his heavier feet, which is a huge plus and a leg up compared to the other Sonic Prime figs, and makes him good for posing. Again, great collector's pick. The only nitpick/recommendation is wait until his price drops closer to the other figure's retail prices of $15-20. And for my figure aficionados: I didn't know this before buying, his ankles and wrists are on a small hinge joint for that little bit of extra possibility!
