My family loves this! Better than gelatin! Makes yummy fruit desserts and more... 🤗
This is awesome agar agar it dissolves beautifully I use it with hibiscus teas and sweetening and it makes the most delicious vegan gelatin better than the old store jellos making it pleasurable to be vegan. I have made mouse and gummies with it too and I use it in my homemade shampoo to give it substance. Just remember to add it when your liquid is cold.😋

Formed gummies!
The product was pretty good. The agar was able to form my gummies. The texture was kinda wierd but other than that an amazing product and a really good price for the quality!

Perfect Plant-Based Gummy Base
After experimenting with store-bought gummies full of gelatin and artificial ingredients, I tried making my own healthy version using this agar agar powder. The results were surprisingly good – with a few learning curves along the way. What Worked Well:- Created firm, bite-resistant gummy worms that held shape perfectly- Neutral taste didn't compete with my fruit juice flavors- Set up faster than gelatin (about 15-20 minutes at room temp)- Vegan/kosher/halal friendly unlike animal-based gelatinThe Learning Process:First batch mistakes:• Used too much powder = rubbery texture• Didn't stir enough = slight graininess• Poured too hot = fruit juice nutrients degradedTexture Notes:- More "al dente" than gelatin gummies- Less melt-in-your-mouth, more substantial chew- Holds up better in lunchboxesTips:1. Add 1/4 tsp citric acid for sour gummies2. Use silicone molds for easiest release3. Dust with arrowroot powder to prevent sticking4. Works great with fresh juice or herbal teas5.Perfect batch formula:- 1 tsp powder per cup liquid- Constant whisking while cooling- Added flavors at 140°F (60°C)Unexpected Benefits:- The kids didn't notice the switch from store gummies- Cleanup was easier than sticky gelatin- Shelf-stable at room temperatureWhile it requires some technique adjustments, this agar agar makes exceptional healthy gummies. The texture takes getting used to, but the nutritional benefits outweigh the learning curve. Worth buying in bulk if you're serious about clean snacks.

Good consistency for lab work
Quality agar for myocolgy. I used the standard 20g agar per 1 liter water (+ nutrients) and the gel viscosity was perfect and repeatable.

Great Plant-based substitute for baking with gelatin
Glad I discovered this product! My wife doesn't like the thought of eating recipes calling for gelatin because the idea of eating something made from animal bones does not sit well with her.
