Used on a stock tank pool project after I cut the hole too big 🤦🤦 this worked great and did not leak. Excellent quality for the price and I'd buy them again. 3" size requires a 4 1/4 hole saw.

I have used these in the top of 55gal barrels, IBC totes and other liquid tanks. They are used with water and sodium hypochlorite. They seem to be of good quality. As long as you get them snugged down the seal up well and don’t leak, even with the very corrosive sodium hypochlorite. Super easy installation (as long as you have a hole to fit your hand in to). Fit all 1/2” mnpt fittings. Good price for a good product.

I purchase 3 of the 3" NPT female fittings for some poly water tanks. These DO NOT have standard 3" NPT Threads as advertised. They are 3" NON NPT with 11 1/2 per inches threads. Common to 2" male npt and below. You CAN NOT thread in standard 3" male pvc pipe that's 8 teeth per inch more than 3/8 " & ONLY if you cross thread it. Which will cause it to fail, crack leak. These have absolutely been designed overseas and NOT for the American market.dont waste your time with this unless the ONLY thing you will EVER need is a plug for a hole. You CANNOT buy adapters with 3"x11 1/2 teeth to female 3" x8 teeth ( standard American pipe thread)

For the price, these bulkheads are hard to beat. excatly as advertised.

They are sturdy and well made. However, after ordering 2 packages (because I need 4 pieces) of their 1 inch bulkhead fittings, I was a bit startled by their size. When I got out my metal ruler, sure enough, there is NOTHING on these bulkhead fittings that measures 1 inch. The inside threaded part is actually 1 1/4 inches, and the outside threaded part is somewhere between 1 5/8 and 1 3/4 inches. I am not sure if they just packaged the wrong pieces in the zip bags - it says "2pcs NPT 1 PVC" on the sticker on the bag, which is correct - but that's not what they are. I may be able to use them for something.

It is difficult to get a leak free seal with a PEX adapter because the tolerances are terrible on the threads. It took six wraps with the extra thick blue Teflon tape plus wiping it down with Teflon paste before I could get it to seal. The washer is a joke and is way too small in the outside diameter, luckily, I had a different washer laying around that I could use.
